Had received call,  CID showed Senior Shield but pitch was for a generic national health care org but woman would not disclose an actual business name and when asked where their headquarters were located she hung up. This looks like part of what ever scam network preying on seniors and the uninformed and may be linked to the Convergys or NCO Group networks.

I foolishly answered the phone when this unrecognized number called. There was no response to my greeting for about ten seconds; at that point a computerized female voice said. "Goodbye." The call ended with no further communication.

Did not answer. Checked out this number on-line, and found this web-site. Very interesting  comments. Apparently number is used for multiple sales pitches. As a rule, I do not answer any calls from numbers I do not recognize on both my house phone and my cell phone. The number of such calls on my cell phone has been increasing. On my house phone, I get a few every day. I let them go to the answering machine, and most do not leave a message.  It's definitely annoying, but I have adapted.

ROFL.. Placing you on a unlisted list is totally useless considering the criminals are using dialers that don't recognize the fact your number is unlisted..   Actually the best thing a person can do right now is buy a call blocking device or phone. No fee's every month, it pays for itself.

And if no one reported the calls, then the authority's would never have a clue what  was going on, let alone be able to try to track em down. And yes, miracles do happen - even in foreign country's!

Yes,I received a weird anonymous call from
a shaddy caller who elected to inform that she was a legitimate medical customer sale representative from a company called "Rx Medical Assistance Firm", who insisted that they were providing,(Neuropathy Opioid Pain Cream), for certain individuals who fit that certain medical criteria. However, her indecisive sale pitch or technique in some way begin to clearly reveal that there was something sinisterly amidst or fishy as she preceded  to inquire about certain selectively personal private informations that seem rather unnecessary apart from what she/Vanessa initially expound on. Which immediately I became alarmed and alerted to
her mamalicious intentions of somehow trying to manipulate or solicite me for some of my very confidential informations. So please beware and otherwise on high alert for these identity or scam theives who are predators sure enough, perhaps it's always wise to follow your instinctively "GOD" given gut feelings whenever your so-called hypothetically spider senses give off that tingling situation.

they called and I said not interested  then she called me back with an unknown number and just kept saying not interested. so I am searching now  they are based out of south Carolina . I have gotten the police involved!!!!

Got a call from this number but couldn't asnwer because I was working. There was no message so I decided to look it up and came across this page. I'm glad I didn't answer. BLOCKED!

Dont know why they r calling me

Called about national healthcare. When I asked if they were soliciting something they promptly hung up. Tried to call the number back to remove my number from call list and call wont go through.

Just received a call from this number, sounded like a kid and they said 'you're gonna die' and then hung up.

Same here, I got to the point where the Indian sounding lady said she was going to send me free hand cream.

Was not going to answer but decided to . Said they were calling from Health Care Systems. Did not let them go any further, told them never to call again.  Foreign sounding voice on the phone and a lot of background noise from other people on phones

Reporting these calls is an absolute act of futility. Since around 97% (source is our own Missouri Attorney General DNC website) of these direct marketing robocalls originate off shore and use VOIP lines, they merely spoof the caller ID info to make you believe the call originated here in the States. This gives them a certain level of transparent legitimacy; it also makes it impossible for the government to take any action at all. Take a look at the robo-message transcript posted earlier in this thread. It is obvious from the grammar and sentence structure that whoever read the script did not use english as a first language.

Best thing a person can do is contact your phone service provider and instruct them to place you on their Unlisted and Unpublished phone number list. This way, your number will not be published in the local phone book and will not give out your number if someone calls directory assistance. Also, never give your real phone number over the internet. Whenever I order anything or fill out some other form online, I always list our local police department number. This has helped cut down on the nuisance calls and my phone system is currently blocking the rest, or I should say it's blocking about 186 other numbers.

I got a call from them today saying it was from my credit card company about lowering my rates.  I pressed one to tell them to take me off their list.  When I tried to tell him this, he said since he was with my credit card, the do not call list didn't apply.  When I asked him to tell which card he was with, he kept saying, "We don't have to have this conversation today," and finally hung up.

The called ID shows "Senior Shield". There are no seniors in my house. Blocked that number on my phone.
