Really who calls asking for info before making them self known?  Crooks not ligitimate business people. This collection agency needs to figure out a better way to handle people they are hoping to collect money from. We called the business they said they were representing we owes them nothing and even had actually owed us a deposit back!!! This company needs to get a grip.

I received a very strange phone call from this number. As soon as picked up they try to verify the last four digits of my SS. Be careful with them!!!! Everything looked VERY STRANGE to me!!!!

I get a call from these people once in a while and its pissing me off I now know this is a collection agency but I have no debt to these b*****ds I pay everything I have instantly never in debt I dont know what they want have never answered I don't answer unknown numbers I will answer next time to understand what they want!

After a rude conversation with them on my way to work, I decided to call back since they didn't identify themselves but didn't respond. Then, since I was in the car and Atlanta traffic sucks, I decided to call back again. And again, and again and again...
They have caller ID so they knew it was me, but all they got was the radio. After a couple "Hello"s they announce they are ending the call due to no response (since it's recorded). After about the 14th or 15th call, they started to get noticeably annoyed. Redial is your best friend here. They have to answer because it's their job but it was clear that many of them REALLY didn't want to.

If you're bored and in the car with nothing better to do, I suggest making harassing calls to the harassers. Sure it's a bit immature but it sure made me feel a little better!

If its not you contact a consumer rights attorney they
will pay you for turning these folks in for harassment.  i did it to

This number has called my job looking for another person with the same name as me 3 times but when ever I called back and gave them the number the company called from they have no ideal who called me but keeps getting me confused with a person who stays in Brunswick Ga and even gave out the address and the last four digits of this person's SS # which I feel is very wrong to do because when you are applying for something online or at least whenever I have applied for something online I only had to provide the last four digits of my SS#.  Sorry this is a run on sentence but at work and just wanted to type this before I forgot about it. Oh and also I was told 3 times that my work # will be removed form their records which was false.

Keep getting this call monthly. Answer and the voice on the line says ." please continue to hold". They called me. Why should I continue to hold?

Someone names Francis for my husband. Calls on the home and then the cell after repeatedly being asked to refrain. She does not name the company nor provide an address.

I do not respond to anyone who asks if I am "whoever", but who will not state the nature of their business. If I do not know you, and I don't know why you are calling, why on earth would I tell you who I am? If you have legitimate business with me, SAY SO, and quit the cagey responses! After a couple of these calls, I blocked the number, but they still call maybe once or twice a week. Sorry, but only honest, up front people get dealt with in this house. And if this IS about a bill, we do pay them, for those who state their business, even on a voice mail, and who don't act like they work for the KGB. Otherwise, go peddle your BS elsewhere.

Tell me the agency you report them to.  There's power in numbers.  My bill was actually paid and they STILL call and make threats (on a daily basis).  It has become harrassment.  I have contacted the county office they were employed by to report it and will go up the ladder there as well.

You apparently work for this organization.  There may not be a do not call list for collection groups, but there are regulations they must follow which includes making calls only during certian times of day.  This company has broken every rule in the book and I intend to push this to the highest level I can.  Just so you know.................

No they won't.  They keep calling..........even after the bill has been paid.  Threats to contact employers happens to be illegal and I'm just the person you didn't want to p****off !!!

The company that called us from here is CCI. They have been very rude to us. We do in fact owe this bill, however we never received the bill and were told our account was at $0 so we had no idea it was owed. I explained our situation to her and asked for an itemized bill. We got a letter with the total on it, but no other information. When I contacted the company we owed directly we got more information. I sent our payment to the company directly instead of CCI. We got a call this morning from them and when I asked who to call (name, phone number, business information), she stated she couldn't give me anything more and HUNG UP ON ME!

someone from this number keep calling me an do not leave any messages! So, I finally decided to call them back ...it seem all legit at first being put on hold and transferred to a rep. he said his name was frederick...I wanted to laugh cause he had this sissy a** country voice ...He had an old address of mine correct saying he was from contract callers....saying the company i owed was called people gas and lights...Hesounded so dumb becuase that company dont even exist..and light and gas are to different companies...furthermore, i just filed bankruptcy and gave him my lawyer information and just laughe it up cause this dumb un-educated sounding folks be calling trying to scams like who actually would give their payment information over the phone for these so called accounts! I just moved and I know I had my lights and gas transferred and thats why the hell they both are still on and paid up to date!...I am glad this website exists so people like me can check out certain numbers..its all overrated and now is just so damn funny to me..theses people are all just dumb sounding a***oles!!!.....we just gotta be careful and keep informing each other...

So, how do you block a call from a specific number on a cell phone?

I've been getting robo calls from this number randomly for about a month. A recorded message tells me the call is for me (hacks my last name) and asks me to press 1 if it is me, 2 if I am not me. I just hang up. If it was important they would hire a live operator. I don't do 'Robo Call'. For what it is worth, I owe nothing and my credit report reflects that.

Received call from this number. I do not answer calls unless I know the number. I do not listen to voice mail. Any debt i would owe isnt recognized by me as they are at least 8yrs old. Just ignore the idots. Let them waste their time. Clark Howard shoe says to never recognize any debt. If you do the statute of limitation is waved.

So spelling AND reading comprehension are both a problem for you.  The poster indicated that they did pay the bill.  They have the legal right to demand written validation of the debt under the FDCPA.
