Same deal, got a call from someone with a heavy accent claiming I was being sued. He had my SS# and a very old mailing address (17 years ago). I'm reporting to the local police & AT& T security.

They are also using VOIP services with U.S. phone numbers to give the illusion they are calling from within the USA.

They are calling from India, outside the jurisdiction and reach of the FBI. That's why they told you to go ahead

Someone called from this number yesterday and left messages on both my home and work.  Some guy named Victor Greene with a middle Eastern accent (one of many).  Basically it's a scam about representing some fictitous pay day loan client whom you never paid back.  They come up with these dumb names for the company they supposedly work for.  For instance, the investigation department. They have personal information about you, which I assume they've somehow gotten through the Internet.  Never acknowledge any of the information, SS#, Address nothing.  They say sh## like, you're being sued or arrested for not paying back a loan, (whether you do or not). When you laugh at them or tell them you know it's a scam and to go ahead and file whatever papers they need to file to sue you, they get mad.  I felt like having some fun yesterday, so I called them back repeatedly.  Finally, they stopped answering my calls.  Today though, I guess they're returning the favor (I'm smiling).  They called back and when I answered the phone, I was called an a** hole.  I say, Mission Accomplished.

I got the same message sayin I got a loan sent to my bank and didnt pay it so they were going to sue me if i didnt pay.  But my bank account it closed but I called them anyways.  And they said nothing had been sent so I called the number back and told them that I found this number all over the internet statin it was a scam and that if they called back i would contact the FBI. lol.. Then they started swearing and told me to go right ahead..

I was called from this guy named dan he said he was from the ATF and i guess in his country he doent kknow who the atf are maybe they should just give up and as far as dan telling me he was gonna f*** my mother maybe dan should meet me in a dark alley and see whos gonna get f****d the yellow belly coward.

i have recieved the same call and i told this guy i am going to report him you are leaving information on phones that might not even be anyones;  he swore and then hung up;

I am constantly receiving calls from this number at my place of employment.  This is a scam!!

Yes they did read the SSN and Said he did not understand my English!  That was stupid.

We received call from 707-278-4092 and said that they are calling from law ofice and they would arrest us and so on.

I just got this call today the man stated my full social security number and telling me that my social security number has been governmentally blocked and told me legal action was being taken against me and that my case would be turned over to my local county court system unless I took action now.  I reported to the Attorney General after contacting the Social Security office to make sure the claims were indeed false. They were false and I have now also reported it the governmental theft commison. They are going to give me a new social security number it looks like and they have the voice mail recording of the fraudulent call.  I would just advise you all to report this and take this fraudulent act serious if the man read you your actual social security number.

I just got the call at work from the same number from a guy by the name of Kevin Johns. I have gotten these calls before and the Attorney General's Office said they have had numerous complaints on these people.

I know what you mean. I got a call today from a a-- h--- saying that I owe money and that I would be arrested at my home and lose my job too. I hung up on him and he kept calling me back. He was calling from 707-278-4092 and said he worked for OCS in the legal/investigation department. I have received these calls before and I submitted a complaint report to the Attorney General's Office in my city and I received a letter from them saying not to send them anything and to ignore it because they are fraud. So, rest assure, they are some wack a-- freaks trying to get money.

I just got the same call from that number the 7072784092 and its a guy with a very bad accent to where I can't understand a whole lot he said and something about OCS law firm? And he had my FULL SS# too!!!! What in the world is going on??

I recv'd a call from 707-278-4092 saying I"m being sued and if I don't call them back immediately I will be arrested at my home address & lose my job-they even had my full SS#!!!!

Saudi voices from several individuals attempting to get info from me claiming that i am being sued and they are going to help me from getting in trouble.  Very weird and dumb.
