i just just got a call 6/20/24 from a guy sounded to be middle eastern said i was awarded a grant because i payed my taxes i thought it was funny cause i just filed exempt he told me he was from albridge on behalf of gov gave me this address  independence ave. sw washington dc 20201 sec floor health and human services building a grant app number gt113 then tried to get info he got my DOB then tried for my social no way i knew it was a scam so i asked he said no then transfered me to a loan officer don daniel it sounded like phone number 2027381921 he told me i was approved for 10000 to 40000 and i was getting 14000 asked me if i wanted to receive it in my account pre paid debit card or check i said check then he told me i would have to pay some kind of fee that i would get back with my check i asked him if it was fraud he said no i told him i was looking at google results of the info him and that first guy had given me and it was a scam he ask if i wanted to cancel i said yes he hung up

a man by the name of richard johnson called to tell me that i had granted 14,560 dollars. told me i had to put 280 dollars on a prepaid card for processing fees. when he ask me for money that was a wrap. i have been that when i win something.i don't have to pay to get it !

Thank god I looked here . I really thought there were grants and I could really use some $. He told me he will call me back. Same person and same scenario as u guys. Thx. For these posts.

SCAM, wanted a check for 10000.00 grant money!!!

I got a call saying I had a been approved for A $14,000 grant and all I had to do was go and get a green dot card put money on it and I could get my grant food please I'm not stupid you not get my money I am a single mother struggling really do need a grant and you going to call me trying to get money for me after I said I'm a single mother and stressed out these people need to be f***** stabbed in the face

I was called today as well saying they had 14,566 for me.  Now that I have googled the number, I see it is a scam. Why do people do this?  Said all I had to do was go to Krogers and get a green dot paper something or other and I had to pay 212.00.
Glad I didn't go through with it.......

I too was just called and they have been calling me for days. Offered me a $14,566. Grant and it was going to cost me $225.00 gave me Albridge on behalf of Govt. Grant Dept. his name was Paul Gibbs BM 2019 ph no 707-327-2768 from California. I too looked up online and found this site. So I said this is a scam and he said thank you for wasting my time. Really? What about my time? What a bunch of losers.

Calling the government about this got my call this afternoon. 200 on a green dot card for 14,566.  Googled them right after i hung up. SCAM.

I was just called with the exact thing about 30 mins ago... I was reluctant to give them any information, but I did give them the basic info you can get if you would look me up on line.

unidentified number called me several times in the morning, when I finally decided to answer it thinking it might have been something important, gentlemen told me that the the government had a grant waiting for me because of taxes I had paid in the amount of $14,566..... the address that they gave me as contact information was 200 Independence Avenue SW Washington DC 202 01, whats the phone number they gave me was 70 732 727 688 which is a California phone number. and the email address did they gave me was www.albridge.com that has nothing to do with government grants!

I too recv'd. a call from Mark Williams (same # 707-327-2768) indicating that a grant for the exact same amount of Peggy's had been awarded to me. The government performed a random audit supposedly, found that I was a taxpaying citizen and determined that I deserved the money apparently. I asked for a website and was given www.grants.gob which doesn't exist. I stopped the call here to perform some research (fake website and phone #). The phone number led me to this site here. I didn't take it any further. Be careful out there.

a Mark Williams called me on 4/17/14 and said I was approved for a grant from grants.gov but I first needed to put 200.00 in a green dot paper voucher and some how they had information  that I never gave out they also gave me a grant approval # & an ID # and I would receive a cashiers check  for $14,566.00 BEWARE !!!!!!!!
