I received the same phone call from the same guy, Keith. I tried calling the number back and getting more info from this guy. My plan was to record the call and get them to tell as much as I can so I can try and file complaints against them. Of course when I call it keeps going to voicemail. I wonder if I keep calling them and leaving dumb messages if they will get aggravated like so many of us have been. I also received a call on Wednesday 11/23/2011 from a guy named Alex Turner with a thick Indian accent. He called me from 510 940 9056. The Keith guy called from 707 501 9176. These people need to be stopped.

I had the same number call me and he left a voicemail saying the same mess he told everyone else.  I called him and left a message for him saying to never call me again threatening me then hung up.  What I don't get is my cell is under my maiden name and he used my married name?  Well I got on this site and read a lot of messages and decided to call this Keith Rodriguez back. He answered as Pete!  I told him, that he just called me and in fact used the name Keith Rodriguez and that if his dumbass called me again I'll call the police.  Well now they will be dealing with my husband as well...he's Cuban!  I feel sorry for this Keith dude!  Lol

I've been getting calls for over a month from this b*****d. They come up as Unknown on my cell phone and as of last week I started getting the unknown calls at work. Calls at work= someone needs to be cursed out. I have asked several times for them to stop calling me at work and today I got another unknown call on my cell. This one did not get disconnected and I was transferred to someone. You people are good that you understood you were being transferred to a lawyer. I couldn't understand a damn thing that was being said. Anyway, the foreign man got on the phone and was talking some ying yang about some court papers. I was like whatever. He got pissed because I wasn't getting upset and I refused to verify any information (last 4 digits of SSN and employer) and hung up on me. He then called me back at work (number unblocked) and it was from the 707-501-9176. He proceeded to talk about the faxing court papers (because we ALL know that's how we get court papers these days...via fax). He got mad because I refused to give him a fax number. He would not identify the company or tell me what the "court papers" pertained to, but said I should get them in two days (again, because that's how we get court papers...via US mail...delivered on a Sunday...by the court papers mailman). He ended the call saying he was going to send the cops to my house, which I thought he kept saying call. I kept asking why are you sending a call to my house, I'm talking to you. After we played the spell out the word game, I figured out he said cops. I told him to send him and if he knew about what time they would be showing up and guess what, he hung up on me. So, being the smart-a** that my momma raised me to be, I went ahead and called the number back which was voice mail for Keith Rodriguez, I left a message letting him know that I would be filing a harassment complaint with the FTC and calling the police to also file a report. Hot mess!

I got a call from someone claiming to be Keith Rodriguez with Mckney law firm representing American Cash Advance saying they had a case against me on Friday. Sounds exactly like everything I've seen for this number; Indian accent, transferred from a rep to the attorney but sounded like the same guy, saying the had a case against me. Only difference is the number I got a call from was (707)501-9176. I spoke with the BBB and they said this law firm doesn't even exist. Spoke with police as well as the FTC and both told me this is a common scam with similar information from each one. I encourage anyone to call the FTC and file a complaint as well as a complaint with local police, put your banking institution on alert, and notify experian cause there's no telling how much information this guy has. Maybe if they get enough information or reports on this guy, they'll be able to find him.

Add me to the long list of people they are contacting..... It is really outrageous.

it scam i got paid day loan also and it not due yet that guy name is keith johnson and when i ask him for his lawyer bar number he hang up on me. i called the credit bearu and there is nothing on my credit repoert . i call the state bar for lawyer and they could not find anyone. i got this call after i applied for paid loan

Same guy Keith R., calling and saying that he was with a legal office and threatening legal action.

I received the same call today at work from the same gentleman, Keith at McKinley Law 707-574-8531.  He was screaming and yelling at me and even hung up the phone on  me multiple times when I tried to ask questions regarding the bogus charges that I was being accused of.   I was told I was going to be charged with fraud & money laundering.  It made me nervous as I work for a bank and I had no idea what he was talking about. Every time I called him back (at least 15-20 times) ..LOL...I really pissed him off, he yelled at me and told me he will not talk to me unless I go to a Western Union and wire him the funds he said I owed and then hung up the phone. I eventually filed a police report and that trooper called the number and he too was hung up on numerous times.

I received a phone call from a person claiming to be Keith.....funny he has an American name but can't speak English. These guys are scamming people out of money. Plain and simple don't talk to them, return their phone calls. Claiming I have an unpaid payday loan. Yes they are rude however one time sending them to your local police department stops them for awhile.

I just got the same call They said they were going to file charges of fraud theft etc. They said they would have the police come to my work on monday if i couldnt pay, and wanted my account information.

I called my payday company and they have written down the info, and the manager will contact me to get more information.  Please do the same, lets catch these guys.

They  said they were from the Benicia Law firm representing American Cash, (not my payday company) his name was "Adam Woods" although he had a very thick accent. He called my work, had my information and everything.

foreign man called yelled my social security number and hung up on me after he had already called me and I told him NOT to call me again..... this is BULL some one STOP HIM!!!!!!!!

i received many many phones calls from this"keith Rodrigueuz theatening to sue me in court if i didnt't pay $1008. to them. they even called my landlord and told them that i had used them as a co-signor. I almost fell for this scam until i spoke to the real creditor and they informed me that it indeed was a scam.

Same caller named Keith, very rude and couldnt understand him. He called me names like Mo**erF**ker, SandN**ger, and many other choice words. I recorded the numerous calls. When I told him I knew he was a fruad, he got really upset.. started calling me more names. This is a SCAM to get money from you. Dont fall for it.

Update: I called the Federal Trade Commission and filed a complaint. The woman took all of the information and said while she couldn't confirm it was a scam that it is similar information that they have on file. Her tone of voice led me to believe that it is definitely a scam! She also told me to contact one of the three credit reporting agencies and place a fraud alert on my account and to contact my local bank. If you want to call the FTC its 877 438 4338. The McKinney people called at work today and was rude to my boss and yelled at her when she questioned him (I had filled her in on the situation). Called me and was very rude to me. I said I knew it was a scam and the next time he called should be at this number ...and gave him my local police department fraud division number. Ha
No calls back now.

I keep getting these calls from the same #707-574-8531 . can't really understand what he is saying but yes he is very rude and threatens me all the time. I will report this to authorities

I got a call at 0600 HPT by someone speaking very heavy Indian accent saying that the call was extremely urgent and that my social security number was under State investigation.  I recall trying to apply for a small loan a month or so ago but I never accepted any loans, the providers would eventually call me to ask me if I were still interested and I would just tell them no.  I am very certain this is some time of scam.  He said he was from the McKinney Law Office and could not make out his name.  He said that I need to immediately call him back at 707-574-8531.  So I googled the phone number and was taken to this site.

Got the same call this morning from a "McKinney Law Office" - telling me to call immediately. Couldn't make out the name but I am sure it was from oversees. What they are doing is sicking.

This number called me 4 times yesterday, once at work. Said my social security number was under investigation and I was being sued for theft and fraud for not paying back a loan. Heavy Indian accent. When I said I was having a hard time understanding him he got angry and said it was a personal problem.  I have received a loan in the past but have paid it back. He said I could pay them $420 now or tomorrow they'd submit the paperwork to court and my job and I'd be responsible for over $8000 in fees if I lost the dispute. We got disconnected and I ignored the call back because my baby has been sick. He left a voicemail saying my ignoring the call was an admission that I defrauded his client! Who do I report these people to?

Got a call today that I owed this company money for a payday loan. I asked them the date that the supposed money was deposited, they would not give me that information. They asked for my attorney's phone number and threatened that I would lose my job and that they were filing a lawsuit against me if I did not pay $499.27 by the end of business day today. I called an attorney and researched this number and found all of these complaints. The guys name was Keith Rodriguez and he said McKinney Law Firm. Told me that if I didn't pay they would be suing me by tomorrow and legal fees could escalate to $8000.00 They will not be getting my money.

Received several calls from this number as well. They are rude and nasty and will not tell you what "debt" they are supposedly calling about. I will be reporting them to the authorities.

Actually, if it was money you owed, it would be a civil case, not criminal.  Cope don't arrest people in the US, even if they DO owe money.
Do not give them any information, and if you do pick the phone up again, and it's them, you can do one of about a dozen things, but the  best idea would be to blow a metal whistle in their ear.  Ths is a scam.  Don';t let them scare you.

My best advice, as this is probably from outside the country and using spoofing software to have another number show up, is to pick up a $4 coach's whistle at Wal Mart.  Every time they call you, either ignore it and don't call back, or, if you're in the mood to return some of their harassment, pick up the phone and blast 'em.

These people are total scam artists!! They called me and my husband doing the exact same thing. Never would email me paperwork, wanted to know all about who, what kind, ect.. Attorney we had. When I got loud with them they called me a bi*** and hung up. Then wouldn't answer the phone. Is there anyone we can call to make complaints to?? These guys are probably plotting the next 9-11 and stealing our identities...

I told them I had a lawyer and they asked me the lawyer's name and phone number and I gave it to them then they started asking me what kind of attorney was this person and I asked them what does it matter?? Then KEITH lol began to get rude and I said you know what I'll just call my attorney and get back with you then KEITH hung up on me!! lol

They said it was a criminal case and could be a civil case!! Please help me out with some info!! Should I be worried???

I have an online loan but my first payment isn't even due yet they called threatening me, but they wouldn't give me any info about what the case was about. Is this a scam??? Should I be worried since I have an eloan?? Actually I have 2!!
