I am getting a call who states from Mckinneys Law Firm, I googled no such Law Firm in NJ. their # 1-908-818-8121

omg i just got this same phone call from the exact same guy. he started yelling at me and telling me i owed $529.21. i asked him several questions and he could not be specific. these people need to get a life and a real job. its sad.

they keep cslling me sayin i borrowed 300 dollars which i didnt and threatmed to call my job the us navy and they said they would take me to court he sounded like he was from the middle east i know its a scam cause he couldnt even tell me what part of cali he was from.

Thank you so much for this information.  I just rec'd a call at my place of employement from the same people.  Not only did they say they didn't care I have file bankruptcy, but they called me a B***h numerous times and when I gave them my attorney's name, they told me my attorney could suck his you know what.  I was FLOORED!  I, too, used to work for a collections department and I know it's against the law to treat people this way.  Thank you for the info as I wasn't sure where to report it.

I recently got a call from 707-501-9176. He said his name was Keith Rodriguez and he was from McKinneys Law Firm. He sounded foregin. He blirted out my bank name and my address. He knows all my information and thats scary. He said I got a payday loan from American Payday Loan. They tried to put the info in my accound and when trying to retrieve it they couldn't get it back out. He then went to pull out papers and read all this information regarding my case. He asked me a few questions and said to not talk over me or something would happen. I did though to answer a question and he then preceeded to cuss at me and be very rude and angry to me. He called me over 10 times within the last day along with threats.  I reported it to the police and he has done the same to them. They are going to persue this as far as legally. HE NEEDS TO BE STOPPED NOW BEFORE SOMETHING SERIOUS HAPPENS TO INNOCENT LIVES OUT THERE!!!!

These same people have been calling me too on my job and doing all the same things.  The number is 619-356-5478 saying they are McKinney Law Firm and using the names of Mike Burg, Edgar and Brian.  I am reporting them as well.

Same thing!  Threatening calls at home and work, jail time, outrageous fees...I NEVER RECEIVED A PAYDAY LOAN!  It is scary to me how these peopl,e have the info they had about me...I surely didn't give it to anyone that I didn't trust with it.  I am going to refer him to my "attorney" next time they call.  A-holes.  They wished me luck for everything that is about to "tumble down around me".

I recieved a phone call today that went to voicemail (who doesn't screen any more?) and i could barely understand the message and I called back, it went to voice mail.  Left a few messages asking to get a call back and when I finally did I spoke with two gentlemen, the first was pleasant enough and then "Eric Williams" got on the phone and started going off, he'd hang up and then call back demanding to know why I hung up on him.  This went on for an hour.  
When I demanded to see paperwork they had on this "payday loan"  he said that he legally could not send it to an individual but to a lawyer only.  I said bull, I have a right to see any documentation he has so that I can dispute the charges.  He hung up (again).  When I called back he finally agreed to mail them to me along with an arrest warrant and hung up.  I called back again, asking what loan company "Cash Advance", and I asked him to just verbally verify some information.  
He read my name, my social, and then he read my employer's info.  BINGO.  I had him ball the balls.  I've only had this job for 2 weeks.  So there is NO way I could have defaulted on a loan.  I verified with my bank account, nope, no magic money.  I told him that I had proof I hadn't recieved it and where I could send dispute information to, he said that they didn't have a fax number and that he REALLY hoped I didn't lose the law suit or i was looking at 10-15 years in prision.
I told him that was fine, and that even though I would be representing myself I wanted to just connect with a lawyer and if they wanted to contact him who should they call?  he said this numbe r(805-204-4778) and AGAIN hung up.  So I called him back again, I asked him to please explain my options so that I would have as much information as he could provide.  At first he refused, when I said well what if I decide to just pay it?  He said fine.  My orginal Payday loan of $300, plus interest and legal fees was now $1500, and I could either pay that off in full today or make 28 weekly payments of $53.57.  I said thank you and that I would have a lawyer in t ouch with them within the hour.  I reported them to the NYS Attorney General.  Douchers.

Oh and did i mention the extra thick middle eastern accents?  Ya know, its scum like this that gives middle easterns a bad rep.

Who are these people? I just got a call and when i asked for more information and to talk with a supervisor they got really pissed off! They pretend to read from a fake affidavit which is intimidating. They demanded some ridiculous money amt and it sounds like a bunch of noise in the background.Dont let these people take advantage or scare you cause they try really hard too!

Got a call from this company stating they are an attorneys office working for cash advance.  I was told that I had taken out a cash advance for $300 and needed to pay it back immediately or I would lose my job and have court costs of $8000 to $9000.00.

This number 707-655-4000 calls me over and over and over again.. somehow got my work number called me there as well.. luckily I played stupid today when I answered and noticed this 707 number on the caller i.d. and asked who he was and what company he was with and he had a very heavy accent that I want to say was Indonesian perhaps. Very rude! and would not give me details but kept threatening jail time and problems in my future if I didn't comply with him. I informed him that if any criminal charges were going to be pressed against me that I would contact my attorney and he said something in another language and hung up on me. But 2 hours later called my cell phone 2x in a row. I am changing my home number tomorrow.

Keith from McKinney law firm has been constantly calling me about some loan. He says the company I borrowed money from doesn't want to have any contact with me. What a joke, he must really think that I am dumb and stupid.

These people have been calling me for the past two days, harrassing me, and telling me that I am going to jail if I do not cooperate with them. They have all of my information and I am guessing that they got it all off of the internet. When I called back and asked for a supervisor I was informed that it is a law office and that they have been retained by a third-party. I informed them that I am aware of the FDCPA and that they are going against every rule within it. The individual hung up on me. I called back, I mean why not...they keep calling me. And asked to speak to the individual who initially contacted me, Alex Beck, and the guy informed me that Alex is a paralegall and he was calling on behalf of him...whatever. Do not give any info out to these guys. Identity theft is bond to happen...also, do not verify ssi #, checking account info, or anything else... Use Caution

Getting calls from this SCAM! Never called a Law Firm (as the caller says anyway) and it's a voice mail box. What an idiot, what a scam & to think these creeps scare American's to send them money via Walmart Pre-Paid Card..... hello people this only means untraceable!!!! What freaking law firm have you ever dealt with that wants a Pre-Paid card???? Be Careful & know your rights.

my husband got a call from this number today and left a message about needing to speak to him or his laywer, and if he didnt call back "the only thing I can do is wish you good luck as the situation unfolds badly on you".  So i called my husband scared not knowing what was going on.  I then got on google and googled this number and i saw all the other people complaining about the same number.  The guy was Mike Burg?  My husband called him back and said send me the information and the guy hung up on him.  I then called this mike guy back and said i know thins is a lie and im calling the cops about it, he said then i will see you in court.  how are people like this getting away with trying to rob us??  this is the first time we have ever had someone call like this.  Then this mike guy called my cell phone, not my husbands as he said he was looking for, really????

They called saying they needed my lawyers info and that if they didn't here back from me they pitty what will come down around me. So I returned there call (curious I guess) with my lawyers info (have one on retainer) and they hung up on me as soon as they got the info. I called them back numerous time asking what this was in reference to. No one would communicate with me finally some one talked to me I am very persistant. Then some to put it nicely a heavily accented person came on the line and called me a jew Motherf****r and hung up again. Then I responded in my own redneck fasion as well as called my lawyer and let them know what happened. These people are out of vallejo California and are not legit

i have been getting calls from this number and i had started  ignoreing it till he left me a message that my attorney or i had to get ahold of him so i called back, i was then informed that i was gona be taken to court for a payday loan i had taken out. well to those that have guts for debt i enevy u but im so scared of debt i stay away from it well i told him to send me the paper work where he could prove to me i got the lone he started telling me off and threating me it has gotten so bad cuz now hes useing a unavailable number but it the same voice same name im so scared my nerves have hit sky high im not sleeping im vomitting from my nerves how do i get him to stop!!

I recieved a call today to both my cell phone and my work line.  It was from an Alvin stated that he was calling from a McKinely Law Firm Ph # (707) 655-4000.  He stated that I was being sued as I took out a payday loan and never paid!  Are you kidding me!!!  I only have taken out one 10 years ago and that was paid in full.  Learned my ( but can see if you someone needs to get by times are hard) and I pay all my bills on time complete ridulousness!   I advised the gentleman that I will call him back. I did call back and another gentleman answered said that he was Alvin, I was like really you sound different.  I told him this was and to stop calling was going to report him.  He said that he will be calling all my friend and family till I settle this debt and that I was goign to be arrested lol!  I reported this to the Federal Trade commision at (877) 382-4357 and reported them. I'm also going to be reporting them to my Attorney General's office.

A man named Keith called my cell phone and job 17 times in a fifteen minute period. Said he was a paralegal, read me a fake affidated, claimed i owe a company money. He was very rude and telling me i would recive the papers in the mail then have to surrender myself to the police to follow thru with the "pending charges" he also said my banking account number which i closed immedaitly. There a bunch of fraud basterds. It was all bull. They were fishing me. No law firm would never not have a web site nor a real voice mail. They just want money!

I received a call from Michael couldn't understand the last name.He was reading an "affidavit" threatening me with superior court in my state. When I called back to get name and more information the lady said,I would get specifics  with my paperwork and my arrest warrant delivered at my job. As I am Director of a daycare and trying to get custody of my granddaughter from foster care, I panicked. Then my friends and I started making calls to the court clerks and no case.The clerks suggested I call The Attorney General at 202-307-6777 and file a complaint.I did and was suggested to also call Federal Trade Commission at  877-382-4357 and filed a report with them which they are aware of.

I am a young woman and they have been threatening me and my family constantly and with false information. File a report with the fbi at www.ic3.gov. Hopefully they will be stopped soon.

Got repeated phone calls at work from someone caliming his name was jm parker and then mark barker. Asked me to verify my soc. sec. number. I refused, and demanded to know what the call was pertaining to. He called me a mother-f**** several times and hung up. Then he turned around and called right back and called my co-worker a f-ing b****. Then he demanded the supervisor, and when she refused, he hung up. He called back, I answered, he called me a mother******, a w***e, a b****, and told me to s*** his*****. Then wanted to speak to my supervisor. This went on for about 8 phone calls in 10 min. Then my supervisor told him he was reporting him and his company to the FBI and local police for harrassment. That was 10 minutes ago and haven't heard back.

They are calling me and family saying they have a legal suit against me for money they loaned me. I have never borrowed money from them. They are threatening court action and gave me a bogus address that was the LA courthouse. They Said they are McKinney's law firm and his name is Keith Rodriquez.

Called again my daughter told them I was dead.
