Had received 7 messages from them saying I owed them money for a payday loan.  I continued to call them back trying to get information from them.  I was hung up on each time I called.  They said I owed them $300 and that my bank would not return to them for a payday loan.  I was told to put the money on a pre-paid card and pay them.  I wish I knew more info on who they are so I could report them to someone.

Claimed to be Officer Jack Thompson with Thick middle eastern accent called my work tried to harrass me saying I had legal charges pending that would be filed in my court tomorrow. Number is known to FBI that they are Terrorist Group from India using call forwarding.

Called saying he Officer Jack Thompson had last 4 digits of SS and said 3 criminal charges pending in some court and wanted me to call him back to settle it or they would be filed in my home court. No Officer Jack Thompson exists especially with a thick middle eastern accent. Total scam looking for personal information and or money. Number is known to FBI to be a scam number from terrorist organization.

CALLER IS INDIAN TERRORIST USING INTERNATIONAL CALL FORWARDING AND HAS STOLEN YOUR IDENTITY.. THE TELEPHONE CARRIER IS PAC WEST PAC WEST SAID THEY ARE USING INT CALL FORWARDING TO SCAM PEOPLE OUT OF MONEY AND THREAT JAIL AND LIFE HOLDING YOUR INFO HOSTAGE..

Man called said he was Allan Jones said if I didnt call back.He would send the police to my work and have me arrested for a non payment. Then I called back a lady answered and said her name was Jane Smith and she was with cash usa I had to pay 500 dollars in 30min or they would prosecute me. They have my ss#.

Update: If you have applied for a loan on the internet to Payday Loans beware. You very well could be approved for the loan quickly even if you have bad credit, no job, and no bank account. However the loan will not be deposited in your account at all but the approval will count as if it were. These terrorists will try to force you to pay back monies never received as if you had collected the cash advance. Threats such as I'm your daddy pay me now or else, along with threats of jail, threats on your life, threats on your children, if they hear a baby in the background they will threaten your baby. These terrorists will continue to call because this scam works. Do not get a prepaid credit card and pay them one red cent because they will continue to call you for more money. These terrorists are based in India and support terrorist groups but fear not. Agents are doing their best to track these terrorists and getting closer to their base and once they are found will be dealt with promptly no matter where they are in the world. Brfe along with its partners are closing in on these monsters and once a plan will be devised to execute, and once and for all time, put their threats to rest. They will be calling Cal Black daddy as there operation is exterminated.

Keep getting this call from 7079690053 they wont stop calling, I talked to this guy this morning told him to stop calling never call again he just laughed, said there were three lawsuites against me and i need to talk to there lawyer, of course i didn't nothing harassing yet but if so they would me messing with the wrong person i do have contacts and I have followed all the steps so far hope someone can find them soon and shut them down. If anyone has any info on how to I would like to hear it.  Thanks!

I got a call from a place stating they were a Federal Dept law office. My co worker took the call while I was at lunch. I tried to call back, the answering machine came and on, never Identifing who they were.

Wow, I thank all of you for this post. I've been barraged by people calling from this number who keep telling me the same thing: 1. I owe them money, 2. they are going to sue me, 3. they are going to have me arrested. I've asked them repeatedly to provide me any information that I owe them anything as I have ZERO record of receiving anything from them, and they refuse to provide any details. The rude person said he worked for the Federal Government and would send a Sheriff tomorrow. I'd like to personally thank all of you for participating in this blog as it has helped me understand this is a total scam.

I received 2 calls today from a "ronnie cooper" threatening me with feds that are coming to my place of work tomorrow to take me to jail. I called back and informed him that I had no clue what he was talking about and he then started talking to me very vulgar and I hung up.  I called cashnet which is who he said he worked for and they had me call their fraudulent compaints line. He called again and then proceeded to yell at me when I answered saying he already spoke to me, so I told him to quit calling and that I have filed a complaint against his company and that I knew this was a scam and he hung up. Loser!!!

I received a call at 620 am i didnt answer so they left a massage saying that i needed to get an attorney and if i didnt call back then he feels sorry for me. so i called back to see what was this about she went on to saying how i took out 3 loans deposited into my account and i havent paid them back and if i didnt give them my credit card info to take care of the matter then the federal government is coming out for me i would have to appear in court in california or a warrent would be issued out for my arrest i no i havent took out any loans so im like what is this some kind of scam i told that B**** to get a real job what is this world really coming to ........................

Got 2 calls from this company and the Person said his name was Steve Scott, but had such an Indian Accent I could not understand him, also spoke so fast was hard to follow what he said, told me about being late on a loan i was to have taken out and that he was a lawyer and I had better have one handy as I was in trouble. Then he had me call the number again and ask for a Randy Cooper who could verify the information about the court case. Same person would not let me speak and had all my information and SS # but nothing really seemed correct about the whole process but that they had my information.  Why do we have to suffer for the likes of these scammers?  Shall report it to my bank and the credit agencies.

Beware! This number is linked to a terrorist group in India. I received a call at 7am telling me that if I do not pay them an ungodly sum of money with a prepaid visa card or have my attorney contact them bad events would occur in my life. I have never taken a loan online from any one so I told them that I would find them and prosecute them. I am an investigative journalist with many contacts. The India sounding man told me that if that was the case then for me to expect a visit from the Police and that they would kill me. I called my bank 800 number and reported the number and with the help of law enforcement is in the process of setting these terrorists up for a sting. We are waiting for them to steal money from my accounts so we can trace them. They have also commandeered my space and are using my name to commit felonies, fraud, so forth. The bank will return the monies stolen from my bank as investigators chase these terrorists down until they are caught. Call your bank and let them know what is happening to you and then file a Police report. You will be safe, call 800 number of your bank and then speak with your bank manager giving them the 707 969 0053 number and your bank will return monies stolen from you as they investigate. I am a vet and threatened them back. I will do whatever it takes to find and neutralize these American hating terrorists. Terrorists will hijack my space, facebook to have the ability to use your name and information to commit crimes so make haste to report these threats to local police, FBI, and save threatening messages as evidence. Record conversations, and check your accounts everyday for fraudulent activity. Now that I am on this case so relax, I will use my contacts to find these terrorists even if it takes a trip to India to do so. just got a call at my work and he claimd to be lawyer and get police at my job. This is a SCAM!!!!

I received three calls starting at 7 am from this number he said he would call my work which I don't work and come to my home and arrest me.

I have received 2 calls this morning stating that he is Officer Michael Jones (who speaks with a VERY STRONG FOREIGN ACCENT which is almost impossible to understand) and does not fear an attorney, he knows my name and SS#, he has 3 criminal charges and a warrant for my arrest.  He dared me to ignore his messages and I would be arrested if he does not hear back from me or an attorney today.  I did recently apply for an online payday loan BUT NEVER WENT THROUGH WITH IT SINCE THE INTEREST RATES WERE RIDICULOUSLY HIGH.  Luckly they haven't called my employeer because I used my alpha numeric pager # (provided thru work) as my employer #.  How can they get by with this and do I have to be scared about getting arrested, having something show up on my credit report or what little money I do have in my checking account, get taken out by these people?  I think these people should be the ones scammed and arrested (or deported if applicable).

Calls 10-15 times a day with threats that the Sherrifs coming for me. Says I have criminal charges pending.

I did a month ago, due to overspending for X-mas,a payday loan. Of course it was paid back in full on its due date.  Interest rate way too high!  I am sure this a scammer.  I have recieved the same word for word sayings about get an attorney , this a sever civil and liabity manner... etc, etc, watch for the sheriff showing up ....  I would file the FBI compliant ,  lock your credit reports, and alert for possible Id thief/ fraud , and call your banking for checking to see what they decide to do.  I know on the online payday loans application, your full checking information does not show, but one never knows.   The caller is coming through from Fort Bragg , CA phone # 7079690053.  I think this a plishing scammer,  who hoping he will scare someone  into getting him their credit card or checking info, to stop the fraud collection calling and collections. And then he will use your credit card or checking account.   I would not worry,  I checked with all 3 credit agencies, and my bank all is well.   I called back Mr. Jones, yesterday, and I told him that we are on to his scam, and to expect a call from the FBI !  Mr. Jones has finally stop calling me from India.

I just received the same type of call. He said that a sheriff would be at my work tomorrow. Do I need to worry about a sheriff showing up? I figure this is a scam. I have had a payday loan before but paid it back. He would not give me the loan information he stated" it was there silver bullet for court" I am supposed to call him back in 1 hour or they will arrest me.

I just received an email from my job saying Eric Johnson had called while I was away. It seemed urgent or they wouldn't have emailed me about it.  I'm checking everything related to my finances and reporting this asap.  Thank you for your posts.  I thought I was going to be in real trouble.

Had 2 calls today from this number, went to voicemail since i'm at work all day.  All i could understand was "mike jones" (supposedly this indian man's name.... doubtful) and verify social security number.  The rest was completely unintelligible.  I don't owe past due amounts on any pay day loans, although i admit I have taken one out.  at least I can tell that this is a recent thing that's happening to many people.  Will make special note to check credit and bank account frequently.
