Several calls for this number, you can not call it back; not listed.

Calls numerous times throughout the day, but I  have downloaded Mr. Number the app, which blocks the call from ringing.

Received a call today from this number - showed up as Cook County Gov. My dad called the number back and they said the number was disconnected but gave him another number to call. I advised him not to call it. I just tried calling myself and got a busy signal and the phone shows the number as unreachable. Seems SCAMmy to me!

OMG!  Same thing has happened to me....these incoming phone calls are very freaking annoying.  I wonder if there is any way to report this phn# with our phone carrier.

Cook county/John Stroger hospital. Not sure why it comes up 708 when it is a 312 number

I received a call yesterday monday at 6 p.m but i didnt pick up. I tried calling back nd its a non working #.

This number belongs to the COOK COUNTY SHERIFF MERIT BOARD; if you applied for a job or know someone who works for cook county thats who's calling you. Thanks!

It has been mentioned above but this number is the call back number left when someone calls you from Chicago's Stronger Hospital.

Duh, it's election season.

I got the call today, and it was my ex saying that he's in jail and needs to be bailed out, so the number is coming from a station or a court house somewhere

judging by posts here and elsewhere, this number is used for various gov related business in the Cook County area: Stroger Hospital, Voter Registration, Bridgeview Courthouse etc etc etc...

Depending on what you have been involved in (LoL), the number is calling you for a different purpose.

I got two calls i two days and then remembered that I got calls like this from this number before and it was Stroger hospital calling about an appointment it took them four months to make!

So really the purpose behind this call depends on your personal history.

As for the out of state guy, perhaps someone put the wrong number on a form, on purpose  or by mistake.

Got a call from this number the last two days and then coming here jogged my memory. It was Stroger Hospital calling to see about an appt.

I would guess from all the previous responses that this is a outgoing number they use for various purposes...

But if it is a gov number calls could be coming from the courthouse as well, criminals of the Cook County area beware lol!

I am receiving call from this number several times. When I called back, it says it is non working bridgeview court house number.

My guy got locked up a good minute ago and he called me today on this number

I received several calls from this number.

I received serval calls like that. I would like to know who's calling.

This is a Cook County Election Board Phone number

It is 7:00 am on a Sunday morning.  Some black guy calls and says "Ray". I respond, "I'm sorry, who?" He says again "Ray, get over here." Then he hangs up.  Clearly my voice belongs to a female and I've NEVER been told that I sound like a man.  I just wonder what has happened with the society, where even 20 years ago it was inappropriate to call someone that early in the morning.

Got several calls within a few hours.  They never left a message.  I finally answered a call and I got a robo-call saying that it is a very important message then the phone went dead.  I called back and got message saying that it was a non-working number at the Bridgeview branch of the Cook County courthouse.

This morning about 10AM, recived a phone on my cell phone, I was down stair  but before I reached to my cell ring stop. I looked caller ID and call to find out non working phone.
Than I  my land line ring while I was in bathroom..with number 708-865-5997 when I call back they give me main number 708-974-6000 of Bridgeview, Il.
I never been in Bridgeview or I am not in cook county so I am not going to call anybody.
Because soemthing is fishy going on with this number.

Received a call from a woman named Maria on my cell phone from this number at 4:30 AM. She asked for my (she knew his name or guessed correctly) husband, said she was a friend. When I asked what it was regarding she said "wrong number, wrong number". Called the number this morning, and it's a non-working number from Bridgeview Courthouse.

Got the same call earlier, called back was Bridgeview Court House, COOK COUNTY, they dont know what the calls are from and get calls about it all the time from what i was told, i looked more into it from the info i was given, called Stroger hospital and all no information was known about it... i think it just some bs from sum1 that got ahold of a government phone line or somthing... shows how secure our government lines are.... LOL

who's calling from that number.

My family member works at Stroger and when she calls me this number shows up. It is not a number that can be called back at and is not her direct number either. You have to know the direct number of the person who called you or get a voicemail saying who it was.

It is a number from cook county elections.  They left me a message on nov 4th 2010.  It has to do with voter registration as mine was canceled for an unknown reason.

I have received several phone call from this number in the last 2 days,when try to call back,the answer machine says that is a non  working number,be careful might be a scam,i will call the police and see what they say.

Its the Bridgeview Court House -- its a non working number so it cannot receive incoming calls
