I GOT THE SAME THING ANY WAY TO TRACK THIS?

Call recieved from this number at 7:09PM (Pacific), but caller hung-up as soon as the call was answered.

Same thing happend twice today.  Who is this....

The same thing happened to me.

Yeah, right! I just won a Lincoln Navigator in a contest I did not enter (but they say I did).  We are on the Do Not Call list, but here they are using what appears as a regular number.

Was not home, so found the message on the Answering Machine.

I only need to call 800 393 1518.  Fat chance.  That would confirn me a target.

Samething called and hung up 6:03pm EST

have received 2 such calls from a prize distribution on my phone.  number is private so they clearly do not know who they are calling by name.  they do not call you by name during the msg. A long pause at the beginning before anyone starts to speak.  it is a recording as i picked 1 of them up to speak to the person on the line.  Oh well, rather than call the number they left, i called the number they called me from - it was busy the entire time.  the numbers involved are 708-469-6554, 312-625-5522 and 866-718-9550.

whoever it was didn't leave a msg. and when i tried calling back they hit their redail button and hung up when i knew someone was at th reciever..they called me on thurs. june 18, at 10 min to 2pm.

Got the call, answered, no response, hung up on me. Called back and got a msg saying voice mail full.....

sunday AM call at 8:55.....no one there or message - but figured was a scam call with the lack of information on caller ID..... SUNDAY............my one day to sleep in too!  Maybe they will be stopped - SOMEday!!

Why are you people complaining here? By the way, they never said you won. They said they have good news or that you are a finalist. You people only hear what you want to hear.

What you need to do is fill out the simple FCC telemarketing complaint form. The FCC does take action. I have had them stop telemarketers by taking enforcement action and they will even send you a letter telling you that they did so.

Just be sure to answer "YES" to the question -

"Did the message advertise the commercial availability or quality of any property, goods, or services?"

Then answer "Selling vacation time shares" to the question -

"What property, goods, or services did the message promote?"

This company and others like them get around the do not call list by not saying they are selling anything. If you tell the FCC this, they will not take action or even look into your complaint. So, make sure you say they are trying to sell something, which they are, so the FCC can take action.

DoNotCall.gov is a joke. All they do is compile a database of complaints. It is up to your State Attorney General to take action. The one in my state, Nevada, refuses to enforce the list even after sending postal letters asking that he do so.

They never told you that you won. They either said they had great news or that you were selected as a finalist. You people only hear what you want to hear.

I got calls from 800-821-2670 and 708-441-8084 about the prizes. They say its the prize dist. center. These scumbags need to be stopped and put in jail where they belong. Hopfully the Attorny Generals office can do just that.

Got the message last week, but left a message saying his name was Rob or Bob (couldn't make it out) and left the same 800# others have mentioned.  Said I'd registered to win one a couple of months ago but didn't say my name or where I'd registered (which I don't do).

I got the same thing. "No Name" was on the caller ID (708)469-6554. I answered and they hung up. Very weird.

This number called on Saturday, August 2, 2008. "No Name" was listed on the caller I.D and when I answered, the call disconnected.

July 6, 2008 called 301 pm. No Name on caller ID no measage.

called me 10:16 am on 6/30/08 claiming that I had entered a contest to win a Lincoln Navigator and that I had won.  I just needed to call the 1-800 number and claim my prize asap.  I did not enter any contests.
The number on my caller I.D. says Illinois call 1-708-469-6554.
I did not call and will not call this is a scam.

Received a call on my ansering machine from a David from the Prize Distribution Center stating that he had good news for me concerning a Grand Sweepsteaks Give Away contest I had entered for a Lincoln Navigator. He congratulated me and told me to call 1-800-821-2670 as soon as possible. I was suspicious of the call but called back and got an ansewering machine. Glad I looked up Prize Distribution Center on the internet.

I received a call around noon on Sat. Mar. 8 from a David saying he was from the Prize Distribution center and I had won a prize.  I was to call back as soon as possible.  I received a second call on Mon. Mar.10 from a woman named Candace reiterating I had won a prize.  All I had to do was go to Mesa, Arizona and listen to a talk about Westgate Painted Mountain Time Share and I would get 1 of 4 prizes.  They are:  2007 Lincoln Navigator, $2500 cash, 7 day trip to Bahamas, 32" Sharp flat screen T.V.
Thank God I called a friend who suggested I google this company.  I would have been taken.
