Anyone ever heard of Americans Helping Veterans Corporation in the Chicago suburbs?  They have a PO Box in GA and their president, vp and treasurer are all family members.  They claim to deliver baskets to hospitalized veterans in VA hospitals.

Yes, I have heard of them and in fact they do WONDERFUL  work. In fact they provided the funding for a Disabled Veteran to have a wheelchair ramp built on his home near me. It is nice that they help one Veteran and the family at a time. Alot of Veteran groups seem to focus on large numbers at once. It is nice that an organization focuses on the ones that slip through the cracks.

Someone from the American's Helping Veteran's Corporation called me to donate.  When accessing their website ahvc.org, it shows that the president, vp and treasurer are all part of the same family.

Has anyone heard of this organization?

Someone calling himself Johnson of the State Police called wanting the buisness owner regaring programs where kids are released from school (DARE, Amber Alerts, etc) wanting to know if any problems were encountered this year.
