Call came in from this number...answered it because I didn't want it to wake up my son...bad enough that it woke me after a bad night with a bad headache.....all I got when I answered was dead air.

Call came in from this number at 7 am, and all I heard when I answered it was dead air.

10:30pm  just dead air

Got a call from this number which showed on my caller ID but no one there, and they woke me up from a nap.

caller left message that he had "very good news for me" regarding some entry form I'd filled out (which of course I had NOT) for a grand stakes giveaway, and to call some 800 number and "Michelle."  Needless to say, I didn't call and simply deleted the message.

Said I've won a prize from Grand Sweepstakes Giveaway. yeahh- right!

I received a call from 708-808-3205 today. I answered on the second ring, but no one was there or they had hung up quickly. Like slvrwngs (who commented above), I answered because I thought it might be someone I know.

Public records indicate that the number is for a residential landline in south suburban Chicago.

They must still be at it because I just got a call from the 708-808-3205 number and they hung up or disconnected.  Caller ID indicated "Illinois call."  Thought I'd Google the number to see what I came up with.  Thanks to everyone who posted to this...I wouldn't have answered the call except I have relatives in Illinois who have moved to a different place in Ill, and I didn't know that area code.  I think they're probably just checking to see if this is a working number... then they disconnect.  Won't answer unknow numbers any more, for sure!!!

I just got a VM from "Brent Brooks" of the National Gift Center, telling me that their contest just ended - and that I had entered it sometime in the past 18 months - and I "won a Lincoln Navigator or some other great prize," and to call back at 800-784-7816.  Gee, if this contest just ended now, it's odd they were trying to give away the Lincoln months ago, as indicated in the earlier posts.  Hey, if it sounds too good to be true ... you know the rest!  I'm ignoring it... although I really would enjoy a new car. ;-)

Got the same call about "your entry to win a Lincoln Navigator"  He has great news and just call the 800 number and talk to Michele.  Neither I nor my husband have entered anything to win a Lincoln.  Sounds like a scam to me.

received call and no one answered. this number was on my caller id.i would like to see a stop of these calls. it is very disturbing.

9/28/08, 7:15 pm Sunday. Call from 708-808-3205. "Congratulations your entry has won a Lincoln Navigator." Gave a phone # to call. Second time I got such a call. Just annoying.

not sure who this is but, tried calling it back and it says that the mailbox is not excepting messages.

What I meant was I used star 69 to see who called me and got the number 708-808-3205 then looked it up in google. sorry for the second post but I could not edit my first one.

Received a call from 708-808-3205 saying I entered a contest to win a Lincoln Navigator. The contest is now over and congradulations. I need to call back  800-821-2670..NOT!

This number was on my caller ID.  The number the message said to call was 1-800-821-2670.

Seems that alot of people have have great news waiting for them from David for the Lincon Navigater contest that most of us don't remember entering.  I called the 800 number and got the answering machine.  Thought I will check before I did anything.  Looks like I was right.  This has to be a scam and a long running one too from the post dates I have seen.
