Who is calling you Sandra?  I've gotten calls from this number but haven't answered and they don't leave voicemails.  I'm just trying to figure out who it is.

I am getting calls from this number and they don't leave a message.  If I don't know the number I don't answer.  Any ideas?

I found out who it is. its Devry University.

I really, really, really wish they'd leave me alone. I've been getting calls from this number 2 to 3 times a day almost daily. I've told them to stop calling, but apparently they don't listen. Anyone know how to get them to stop?

I get calls all the time. For about a month now. But you can have them blocked thruogh the phone company, but it depends on who the company is. Also if you have a cell and they are calling that, you can put them on the block list, they will get the hint then. You can also have them charged with harrassment if they continue to call after you asked them to take you off the list.

They left a message on my phone, first it was a guy talking(sounded like a recording) then I hear a woman saying "Hello? Hello?"

That would make sense since Devry just came to my school

I have been getting repeated calls from this number.  I phoned and it is Devry University.  I have not requested information from Devry University, but the automated answering service gives you the option to press one and leave your number to be removed from their calling list.  I did this, and hopefully it will work.

just say that they have the wrong number. It worked for me. they said that they would "change it in their records."

I didn't. They called my cell number, which I NEVER give out as a contact to anyone but direct, private acquaintances. And that is not a lie. (And frankly, your comment is rather smart@ss.)

Yet I get calls from DeVry... from this number, and from their Pomona, CA area campus.

I answered one from the 909 area code Pomona number. They asked for some woman's name. Turns out she gave them a wrong number for herself. (Hey, thanks, stupid lady!) They swore to me they would make a note of this being a wrong number so that I would no longer receive calls.

But I just got a call from this 708 number. And I didn't give them my number. I'm sure MANY people here did not give them their number.

They call because you went to their website and gave them your phone number, don't lie and try to say you didn't.
Same thing happened to me, i was searching around for online degree programs and 'gave them my phone number', they've been calling me sense.
I hadn't been answering the phone because i wasn't sure who the number was, but now that i know, i'll be answering.

I've been getting calls from this number also for a few months now. Sometimes 5 or 6 times a day! It's really annoying!!

these guys call me too at least 3-4 times a day for about the last two months and I cant stand that. If I wanted to go to school I would enroll myself I don't need anyone to encourage me to go.

To anyone who can't handle it any longer.  After a months worth of calls from this number and others I decided to make it stop. I first researched the number leading to Devry University as stated in Anon's msg above, as soon as I had a Rep. on the ohone I immediatly requested a supervisor. I informed the supervisor of state regulations on the legality of telemarketing calls to any cellular devices (Found under latest Articles, Above Right), Then calmly made it clear that I was willing to take any legal actions allowed by law to not only stop the harrassment but possibly to seek financial retrobution if the calls did not stop. I am not in anyway condoning the use of vulgarities or threats to stop the calls. I am simply telling you what was successful for me. I will not be held accountable for any actions taked by you or against you if you decide to follow my method.

I have recieved a call from this number once a day everyday for atleast a month now. The call never lasts more than 2-5 seconds before they hang up. I am getting extremely pissed off.

I have the same PROBLEM!!!!!!!! They just don't care, they will keep on calling. It sucks!!!!
