Just posted about Alpha Service under 708-943-1480, started looking back through the caller ID's and found UPGRADE NOW under 708-943-1483.. these two are connected and there are more.. they use several names and numbers.. all are regarding extending my cars warranty. I'm fed up, they've called dozens of times this last month, it's more than irritating.

I HAVE GOTTEN TIRED OF THIS PESKY CALL.  I HAVE GOTTEN OUT MY "EMERGENCY WHISTLE" AND BLOW IT AS HARD AS I CAN.  HOPE THEY GET THE MESSAGE.  MARGE

Who or what these grifters are or want is beyond me.

NEVER EVER give out information over the phone until you know who you are talking to.

For all you know, they are mapping specific vehicles so that they can steal them for parts.

The way that this call occurred, I would be surprised if they didn't put you into some marketing database for future direct mail BS about your car.

These people call twice a day.  I asked what company they were calling from, the guy said "this company" and hung up.

There was a boiler room in the background and I could hear people insulting others and laughing in the background.

They use an auto-dialer that is throwing up a false phone number- the opt out is phoney, it just hangs up the call for the auto-dialer.

If you never authorized receiving such calls, then they are illegal.  Unauthorized prerecorded telemarketing calls are forbidden by the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).

The best way to address this is by reporting each and every call to the Federal Communications Commission, which enforces the TCPA.  Here's the link to report these violations:  https://esupport.fcc.gov/form1088/consumer.do  It just takes a few minutes to fill out.

Earlier this summer, I too was getting numerous prerecorded calls selling cars warranties. Two weeks after I filed a complaint with the FCC for each call, the calls stopped.

I get a call from this number several times a week and sometimes more than once a day, always about an auto warranty.  I always hang up immediately.  I've tried to call back to tell them to take me off their list but the number is always busy.  There should be a way to stop this.

Received an automated call from this number saying something about a car warranty. I keyed the number (2, I think) to get a live person and got one. Rather than get angry immediately, I played along just to see what might happen. A woman answered and immediately asked for the make and model of my car. I gave it to her (1990 Nissan Pathfinder) and she said, "ok...we'll take you off our list." This made me think that they actually thought they had a particular car attached to this phone number. After the call, I tried to call the business back usinig the number on my caller id device and simply got a busy signal. Evil people.

I just got a call from them. Whatever company this is I get calls every day. It's always the same message about expiring car warranty. I've pressed 2 to be taken off the list. I've asked to be taken off the list. They still call, daily. I too would really like to see the government put an end to this. This is harassment.

I got a call (recording) from a company offering something to do with auto warrenties. I have been on the National Do Not Call List for more than a month now so I decided to push the option for a rep. When my call went through I was asked for my cars make and model. I asked who I was talking with and she told me her name was Erica. I began to tell her that I have received calls from her company and others and before I could inform her that I was on the Do Not Call List, she hung up on me. I did a *69 and was given this number. 708-943-1483. I dialed it for the next hour off and on and have just gotten a busy signal.
If I could get through, I would find out what company she is working for and also be asked to be taken off their list.
I don't like it when telemarkers call and then hang up on me when I ask them to remove my number or refuse to provide their company information. I will now do my best to find the owner of the number and the company that initiated the call.
