Why would an alarm company from Illinois want to install alarms here in western Canada especially way out in the country where response time is measured in hours. Wouldn't be a scam would it? No! Telemarketers are all highly moral people that would have only my best interests in mind. Is that why they keep getting arrested?

this is totally frustrating as they are using an Alberta area code and we have relatives and friends there, so of course we answered , only to have a message say that the FBI need information. I am on the do not call list, but they override it by using Canadian area codes

I reported the phone 708-965-4626 to the DONOTCALL.GOV website & now I'm getting harrassed by the solicitors again calling every day & the automated caller left a message about Home Security & my phone number is unlisted. I live in an Apt & since my Caller ID received this phone call I have received other out-of-state calls that do not leave a message every hour from a automatic dialer the same type of calls. I had to replace the batteries in the Caller ID & this is continually unwanted harrassment & must be stopped. The automated callers must have sold my unlisted phone number to a bunch of harrassers.

Caller-ID said "HOME SECURITY". EIther a scam or a company that ignores the Do Not Call list. Either way, not worth picking up the phone to find out.

These are computer generated phone scams
Do not answer a phone call from numbers you don't recognize! The newest scam... if you answer, the computer adds 19.95 to your phone bill, for some adult porn chat hotline... Another is they pretend to be an attorney, claiming to have your SSN, and threaten to take you to court. They will take any money you offer, to make them go away!
