call received 12:12pm pst. I didn't answer and no message was left.

Call received 10:56am PST.  I didn't answer and no message was left.

Just got a text from this number with only my name and a question mark behind it. When I replied hello?  they text back Is this [my name & LAST NAME]?   I text back no.
and they replied Ok sorry

Weird.

what is this number is this a joke....i got the same thing to..and all the respond that i read from other who got the same number it the same respond i got.

I received a call on my cell phone on January 18th at 6:02. I was at work so I didn't answer, but when I called back I got an automated recording saying that the number was no longer in service.

Received a voice mail on my cell phone on 1/17/08 at 7:10 pm from this number but with no message.  Didn't hear any background noise.

I got a call 3 days ago.
I didn't answer,
But I text back and there was no response.
Since then there have been problems with my phone.

i just got the same call. Called back with two diffrent phones and said it was disconected

googled it and got Illinois...?

same here:  708-999-8989  Telemarketers should be required to use rotary dial phones.

..haha but now that I think about it, my phone number is from southern cali, so this *&*#&! is just making his rounds

I just called me too and I find this really weird...honestly i know it was spanish but i dont know what ... its weird ya know im only 14...please figure this out WHO CALLED??? serio weird oo and to answer that from before its from cenciero Illinois....Im really creeped out...so weird

They must be making the rounds to Connecticut numbers. Just had a call from the same number on my cell. Didn't make it to the phone to answer and no message.

Just got called 8:15 in CT, on cell phone.  5 Mins later house phone rang, no one there, no caller id, same person?

I receive a recorded spanish message at least monthly. Today was the first time that I copied the number for the purpose of doing a search. Since my cell is a business line I always pick it up. Today was the first time it was a female voice.

OMG, you answered it!!!!  You shouldn't have done that.  THEY ARE GOING TO GET YOU TONIGHT...  WHILE YOU ARE A SLEEPING.  The only way you can avoid an abduction is by rubbing cat urine all over your body. They will leave you alone if you do this every evening before going to sleep.

Just called my cell at 7:37 pm... I live in Connecticut. Missed the call.. my voice mail picked up earlier than usual. Left no message. I have never had a call like that on my cell.. very creepy

I jot got a call from this number.  Does this mean someone is after me?  Those 3ft tall, green creatures from outerspace with the very strange accent?

googled that put a space or two in and got to here
is possible i guess it is leaving the 1 and 7 off

i answered it, heard something in spanish and that was it.

cant seem to call it back
with or without the 1-7

708 area code belongs to three chicago suburbs, Maywood, River Forest, and Oak Park.

West coast, received this call at 12:21pm. The reception in this building is bad, and my cell was almost out of juice. So I couldn't make out what language it was, and got disconnected after a few confused "Hello?"s from me.

just got the call now too, for some reason my voicemail isnt picking it up, let it ring about 20 times before i hit ignore.  then checked it online and found this site

I got one just now, picked up by accident...i just added it to me "reject list"
