I keep getting calls from this # too. Why can't we find out who it is?? Nobody answers when I pick up the phone. I do recall getting a call regarding a survey. I wouldn't do it. May have been the same #.

got a call tonight sunday at 7 pm,lady daid she was with the gov't Newfoundland doing a survey.I ttold her i was too busy to answer any question ,and she hung up.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I phoned back... Another machine answered the phone but the volume was so low the only thing I heard was a ding.
I wish they could make these dialing machines illegal....  Give me the option of putting dialing machines out of commision immediately.

i got this call twice in two days,no one answering when i say hello.

Just got a couple of calls and no one was there.  No message left when I didn't answer.

I got a call but they hung up after I barked hello really loudly.  Scared off?  who knows

Woman says goverment labour survey, yet calls late Saturday night.  Phishing for personal information.  I declined to answer any questions.

I am getting the same call. The phone would ring and when I pick up the phone and say hello they would hang up. I called the number back and the recording says that it is some kind of research collecting valuable information. I could not pick out from the recording what kind of research company. I hope this helps.

Yes, I just got a phone call from this number. This is the second time that this has happen where I answer the phone and they hang up. This is very annoying.

I got a call from this number. When I answered a lady said they were doing a government survey. I remember someone telling me that he did a similar survey a few years go. Then the people phoned him back a week later and tried to get him to be more specific about the questions he had given in the survey.
So I hang up. Don't give these people any PERSONAL INFORMATION.

Do not call list is just a big scam just like the low lifes that are making these calls. Phone companies don't care who is calling who. They just sit back and laugh and raise your monthly bill.

What ever happened to the "Do not call list" This is suppose to stop these type of unwanted calls.

Just got the same call a few times and no one there of course!!  Pisses me off, grow up and get a real job!!

same thing happened to me...they identified themselves as a government agency. I asked for a return phone number to verify. They did provide me with one but I never tried it.

Received these calls before and no message left. Today I answered and the conversation went like this.
Me: Hello
Harasser: (pause) Hello
Me: Who is calling please?
Harasser: My name is Adam. I am with the Government and am doing a labour survey.
Me: (knowing this is not professional) Which government department are you with?
Harasser: Government of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Me: And what department in the provincial Government?
Harasser: The CRA
Me: What department is that?
Harasser: The Canada Revenue Agency.
Me: You are with the CANADA Revenue Agency, yet you work for the Provincial Government? I don't think so. Goodbye. (click)

yep. We've been receiving calls from this number as well, with no response on the line, when i do decide to answer. Very annoying!

I have been getting calls from this number for the last two days.

I checked out this number with my Telephone Company and the lady told me the call is done by a computer setup by a telemarketing company so if you answer the time will be recorded so the Company will know when to call you. The operator said the best thing is nt to answer.

Rec'd call at 845 p.m. on Friday August 26.  No one at the other end.  That would be after midnight in NL - I consider this harassment.

These jerks phoned me today, on a Sunday. They also told me they were doing the labour survey thing for the Government of Newfoundland. I entertained them for a while to see what it was about, then told them I wasnt doing the survey anymore. They start asking about your work, where you worked in the last year, and where you went to school.

I got 3 calls in one day, when I say hello there is no reply.

I've had several calls with no one on the other end but today someone was there.  He said he was doing a Labour survey on behalf of the Govt of Newfoundland and Labrador.  Not sure how legit that is.  I told him to call back later.
