Lady just called me from this # and said she was from Verizon and wanted to verify that our information was current.  She placed me on a recording to give her permission to review my account.  She verifed my name and address and said they would call back if there were any expired plans or changed need on my account.  After I hung up the phone, I call this # back and the same lady answered the home with only a "hello" her name and did not say "Verizon".  I just hung up the phone.

Same as above, on Jan 21/09 one Lady called me and offered a good deal if I transfer my account to Verizon. After verification she gave me the customer support number 1-866-483-5000 (happened to be a FAX). After 3 weeks nothing happened and Verizon don't have any record....

Did a little more research on freecellphonetracer.com & found this # to be a land line in Sioux City, Iowa in the county of Woodbury. Phone carrier is Long Lines Metro-LLC-SD

This # has been calling now once a week for the past two months at work. Never leaves a message & I do not answer. I've noticed since I never answer unknowns, I'll start getting new phone calls from new unknown #'s. I'm sure they are all still telemarketers.
