This number calls at least 4 times a day and does not leave a message.  I know it shows Iowa on my caller ID.  I have tried calling the number back and a message informs me the # is not in service.  How can that be?  I have tried reverse number look up but there is a charge for this.  What is the solution?

Got a call from this number a couple of days ago.  Then another this morning from another number there in Sloan, Iowa 712-429-0372.  Answered this one, and it hung up when I answered.  Didn't answer the one that called this morning.  Called both of them after getting that second call, and both give me a recording saying it's been disconnected or is a non-working number.

why are they calling...couple times a day with hang up...same as everyone else.

I got comcast triple play package and the telemarketers were calling immediately.  I think Comcast sells this info.

To stop it I connected my fax - if I don't recognize the number I don't answer, and they get the fax.  Over and over.  Most systems will discontinue trying after a few fax tones.

Using the call trace feature will give enough info for local police.

Okay, so here is what I have found out.

1.) The calls are coming in from overseas. Which means they are NOT being made in U.S.
2.) They are being used illegally.
3.) All phone numbers, starting with "712-429" that they have called from, HAVE been reported to the FBI.

So just to let everyone know, after a week or so, you shouldn't have to worry about someone calling you off and on. :)
One of the FBI agents had actually called me, and asked me what phone number's the have called me from, I gave them 712-429-0255 and 712-429-0252.
But of course he had a list with many many other phone number's on it as well.

I keep getting calls from both this number and 712-429-0234.  This morning was the first time anyone responded when I answered and it has to be the 15th call in the last two days (who calls on Sunday?).  Anyway the guy said his name was John, or Jean.  I didnt let him go any farther I told him that I was tired of them calling and there being no answer, and if they had answered the first time I may have heard them out.  I then told him that I had visited this site, that these calls were b.s. and he should not call back.  I wonder if that'll be enough.

This # and 712-429-0255, and 712-429-0254Have called my house 5 times in the last 2 days. When I answer, ther is no-one there. Same as everyone else, when I call back I get a recording that the # is no longer available. I hope this does not become a problem! We just moved here and I sure don't want to already have to chane our #. We are using Comcast as well. Could it be a connection?

this number has been calling since we got our phone, cable, and internet hooked-up in our home. Why do they do this? i find it a waste of their time....who would have the nerve to take this action towards random people. How RUDE !!!

This number is showing up on out caller I.D. everyday. When we answer nobody is on the other end. Almost everyday, without fault they call around 3:30pm. Then late in the night around 11pm-to 12pm I have taken steps to curve the calls, by blocking the number, but somehow they manage to get threw. It is very irritating.

I have tried to find out who this number belongs to, but I can not get a answer from our phone company as far as a contact number.

This is a problem, as it has started problem with my family, for the reason my wife thinks its some woman calling for me, and hanging up on her!!!

Ok after having a long night of hang up call's (been going on for 2 week's now) and then again at 8:00am. At 8am my husband went off on them they woke up our newborn he then hung up on them and they called right back. I picked the phone up  ( bad move waking me up but waking my baby that is cause for a beat down) the guy's asked me if I was so and so and I said yes what do you want he said are you home and I said yes and he said thanks and hung up! Now if I was home alone that could have been taken as  Im coming to get you. I have had it that is more then enough. I can take a lot infact a lot more then my husband and I have snapped! So I am in 007 mode and from what I have gotten so far is this, they are listed in Sloan,IA on land line 712-429-0258 and so on. They are listed under the name Adventure Communication LIC. this may be fake I don't know. I am not going to set back and let some low life wake my baby up every morning. I hope they know that it's a mad mama that is going to take them down! Sorry for typo's I haven't had much sleep.

everyone that is getting calls from this # call the GEN ERAL ATT. OFFICE @ 18887774590  complain about it and maybe we can have something done about this.

They call and no one is there when i answer.  They call at least 2 times a day.

this Number seems to be related to the 712-429-0234 number these two numbers swap out a call a day or two apart..one calls then the other..if you dont answer they ring the phone till you do..they say nothing and most times stay on the line until you say hello then they hang up..

I just moved in and already got several calls from this number on my machine and I don't answer any number I don't know. ess it is not important. They must be selling something.

They call here too.   I never hear a voice then I hang up.   How is it no government agency isn't doing something about this?

Comes up as "Celebration" on Caller ID. They have been calling 4-6 times a day EVERY DAY. I finally answered and said "you people call me 10 times a day!!!!" and this rude foreign guy said "no, we call 4 times" hahahahaha

Today I received my first call from these people and spoke with Kim ID# 10827. They asked me if my address was *&*^&% (they had it correct). They insisted that because I used my VISA I was going to receive $1500 gift card for gas, shopping, and health care benefits. They told me it didn't matter if there was any balance on my credit card now but all I needed to pay was $2.95 for shipping and handling. They just needed my VISA expiration date and VISA # to verify I had one and they would charge the S&H to my card later. I insisted if this was a credible company they would just deduct the S&H from my gift card and mail it to me. They insisted that my VISA # was not confidential info and they weren't asking for confidential info because they weren't asking for my SS #. They said it was ok for me to give it to them because when I use it the # is printed on the receipt and people see it anyhow. I told them they were wrong that it shows up as **** **** **** 1234. The woman and her supposed manager were very rude and persistant. They finally realized they weren't getting anywhere with me and hung up on me! I know enough to not give my info but what about elders? Very sad!!

I just talked with my phone company. They told me the proper procedure is to tell the person to take you off there list. Then wait 30 days.  After the 30 days if they call again log everything you can.  Time and date and anything that will help them catch these people.  It is important to write down the date and time and the number of the day you told them not to call you again.  Then contact your states attorney general. My phone company said people get away with this because people don't have the time or urge to pursue this further.  Lets get these creeps at their own scam.

I am receiving five calls a day from this number, which is showing up on caller ID as "Celebration." I am on the Do Not Call Registry and this has not made a difference.

I recently switched to Comcast from SBC phone services and when I did I asked for 1. an unlisted number and 2. caller ID block.  I received neither service despite repeated requests (I am billed for both).  I have stated to them that I never received the number of solicitation calls I receive with Comcast; they denied that they had anything to do with it.


The solicitation callers know my name and address; this can only have come from Comcast's records.  For those interested, SBC provides a far better service.  During the years I was with SBC I received very few of these intrusive and unwanted calls.

Baaa I hate these people for over a month now they call everyday luckily I work random hours and I'm rarely home, they called me at 11PM last friday I'm tired of it if I can find out where they are really based I'm suing.  I'm on the national and state no call lists and still get these people who I can't understand calling telling me I've won a free cruise.  It has become a game now when they call stringing them along till they hang up on me.

these idiots keep calling and they won't stop. keep saying something in broken english about free gas. they are scammers so beware............................... the number they call from can not be called back so something is shady about these people...beware

I had this group on the phone for quite a while going back and forth with them.  I recorded the conversation as well.

I spoke with Alen Davis, #10412, Alex Black #98335 and Charles Green #10508.

I gave a bogus card number and worked them for a while, finally getting Alex to give me his visa number. 4563 63XX 8256 9986 ( I have masked some numbers if it is some innocent person's card)

The number they give is 866.916.8814, which goes right to voice mail when called.


They told me I won a $125 gas card, $500 shopping spree and some health benefits

Someone speaking VERY broken english calls and promises 35 dollars in gas cards and other cupons etc...if we just verify information.
