This is getting very irritating. Everyday i get calls from this damn a** people. No-one ever on the line and the moment i pick it up. It f***ing disconnects.

I received a call from IOWA tonight -- a non english speaking woman telling me a I won a free cell phone -- a little different catch -- she wanted my SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER!!!  I told her - "you have got to be kidding me....I don't give anyone my social security number -- if the phone is free then send it immediately!"  She hung up...I reported it to my local TV station -- some naive poor sort will fool for her line!

They call every Saturday and Sunday and no one is there.

So far they've called my cell twices.  I never answer.  I'm registered on the Do No Call List.  I did called back, but no luck...disconnected.  I would love to get a hold of them...Cuz they a** out!

The "Block Calls Free" attached to your comments leads to a $99.95 item.  What is free about that?

Calls my cell phone and hangs up.  Never leaves messages.  Very Annoying.

I keep getting these calls from 1-712-429-0355 and try to call it back cause im usually not home when they call, and i get a recording saying it has been disconnected. Then how did they call me. im getting really mad and tired of this, it has been going on for 3 weeks now.

I have been getting this harassing calls for months.  I to am on a national Do Not Call List.  Here is some basic information that I found out:

I have had 2 calls from this number -- both around 9:00 pm.  I didn't answer the number each time.  When I try to call back the next day to let them know I am on the "do not call" registry,   When I called back this morning,  I got an "no longer in service" message.

I received a cal from 712) 429-0355, several times a day. There in Sloan, IA. I blocked the number, with *60. Get this service from the phone company. No more calls from them. What a pain in the BUTT!

I get at least 2 calls from this numbers a day. I had my husband finally answer their call today. A man with a thick Indian accent claimed I won a free T Mobile cell phone. My Husband hung up immediately. Very irritating, and I don't know how in the world they got my number. Please stop these people!

I've been getting calls from this number as well appearing as IOWA also I have been getting very similar ones where the number appears as unavailable, I get these same calls only they do it three or four times in a row usally all hang-ups and always late at night like around 9 or 10 pm. Once there was a brief period where I heard the other end of the line and it seemed as though they didn't realize the phone had connected up (wierd) it sounded like a LOT of calls were being made in the background. I have never spoke to anyone but it makes me really uncomfortable to get these harassing calls, these repeated calls have happened for a few nights in a row every few days to a week. I don't know what to do or how to stop them.

I have had the same phone number calling me every day for over a week now. When I return the phone call, it says the number is disconnected. UGH. I hate calls like this!

What can we do to get these people to stop calling?

OK, just got one from this number.

If I'm home and answer, they don't speak at all so I hang up.  If I'm not home, they don't leave a message...So my question is...What do they accomplish?   Why are they doing it ??

i got a call & when i say hello.. hello...Caller hung up no message.

Received call from this number from someone speaking very broken english with oriental accent trying to get me to give them my social security number so they could send me a new cell phone.
Refused to let me call them back at a sprint number, I told them I never give out my ss # over the phone.
The put their so called supervisor on line, and she spoke with the same accent and broken Engish. At that point I hung up.

Got a call tonight at 8:30PM - 1-712-429-0355, Caller ID said "IOWA"

Man with an indian/arabic accent informed me that I won a T-Mobile cell phone for my number (which is NOT a cell #).
I said "No thank you" and was promptly hung up on.

Some NERVE calling at 8:30PM!!!

I was called by someone from this number with an arabic or iraqian voice they identified their selves as a sprint representative saying that i have received a free sprint phone I told them i already had a sprint business line with 13 lines she further asked for my ss number i hung up she called me right back trying to scam me i hung up on her again she hasn't called me since.

An Indian speaking guy told my wife that she qualified for two Sprint phones, with a minimum plan purchase of 5oo minutes for $59.99/month and both phones can share that minutes, however he needed a $39.99 deposit via debit card or checking account information. Wanna guess what she told him?

There is never a voice on the line... Each time we have answered the call, we would say, "Hello... Hello..." Each time, we have just hung up the phone. No idea who is calling. However, we REALLY wish it would cease, immediately. I'm beginning to wonder if 'SPRINT' has sold our numbers!!??!!??

Doesn't it seem a little odd that the majority of these posts are reporting some type of reference to 'Sprint'? Hmmm I'm going to have to look into this one some more.

It was obviously a sales call. It took them a few seconds to pick up the phone after I said "Hello?". There was alot of 'sales call' noise in the background.  The man said, "Hello?"  I said, "Yes: I said 'Hello'.  Who is calling please?"  He said, "Sprint Distributors".  I said, "We are on the Do Not Call List", and was immediately hung up on.

Got this call this AM,from this number which say's IOWA CALL. Seems like I got this a looooooooong time ago. But not sure. Anyway,I see IOWA.. Not answering! Perhaps someone sold our phone numbers? There is no use to answering them and telling any unwanted caller off. Just what they want!

I got my first call from 712-429-0355. He started off with "Yes...may I please speak to the owner of this phone number please?" Suspicious, I asked "Can I ask who's calling?", and I've got some f#%*ing foreigner telling me that my "number has been selected to win a cell phone from Sprint."

Yeah..."I'm not interested." *click*

I reported it to Sprint. Hopefully they bust them and deport them. Good riddance.

I've been getting calls from that number for weeks now.. they call at least every 3 days.. they don't leave a message, and there's no one there when I answer... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.. it's darned annoying!  I'll go put up a complained on the do not call registry as well... it sure can't hurt!

I just lodged a complaint with the don not call registry. I hope others do the same. Maybe it will help.

I further checked the phone number 712-429-0355 and it is registered to "Celebration" located in Sioux City, I.A.
