When the call came in from this number we let the answering machine pick up; didn't leave a message.

They laugh because the 712-429-0366; 712-429-0355; 712-429-0344 numbers are just for routing in the USA.
The actual call is coming in from India via satellite.
Until the idiots in congress stop them, the only thing we can do is to let the answering machine get them.

Just got a call from this number (1- 712- 429-0366), silence at first, then caller (heavy East Indian or Pakistanian accent) asks, "is this xxx-xxxx) and I say, "pardon?". Caller says "hello, this number xxx-xxxx has been selected to win a free Sprint cell phone". I say, "no thank you, I already have service through Sprint" but she hangs up as soon as I say "no thank you".

They just called me, and they don't speak or anything.

I think this is the same number that called me offering me a free LG Phone with Sprint, and its risk free for thirty days and more nonsense in long droning outsourced accents. I hanged up on the b*****d, and they called back almost instantly. (ussually a sign of some scam.) They called back again, and I gave them false information for a few minutes and I got bored with the guy and told him I think this is a scam. He laughed off my worries, (Another sign of a scam!) so I just told him send me a letter, and hanged up on him. now it seems they call trying to get someone else, because now they don't talk. Bunch of pansies!

I got a call from the same number. I wanted to look it up and found this site. I am going to answer the call next time and pretend to be interested and give false information and get information from them so I can sue them. Litigation is where the money is made and my sisters a lawyer so I get free legal representation. Oh, please call me back so I can retire.

Claimed to be calling from Sprint, laughed when we said we'd report the incident.  Caller ID showed the number, reverse directory had no info other than Sloan, IA.  Got another call from a similar number two days later, same results.  Registered both on the "Do not Call"  website.  I doubt it'll help, but I had to do something!

I get a call about once a week from this number, or one with -0055.  When I answer, there's no response.  I call the number back, and I get a "phone disconnected" message.  Baffling.

I got a call from this number the answer machine picked up the same time I did I told them to hold on and they hung up on me. my ID said the call came from Sioux City Iowa 1-712-429-0366 I checked the net and seen others had bad calls from this number too. must be a scam ...Beware!

This call comes to my cell while I'm at work about once a month.
Call comes about 10:15 to 10:30 AM.
Please find and stop these people.

I received a call on my cell phone from this number and they left a long message with alot of background noise.  They said a few words in some foreign language and then hung up.

I have received many calls from this number.  When I answer they tell me that I have been selected for a cell phone.  I say I already have one and then they hang up.  This has to be some sort of scam.  If you have already registered your phone number on the "National Do Not Call List" then go to www.donotcall.gov and click on "File a Complaint."  Fill out the info and hopefully this will do some good in stopping these calls.  If you have not registered your phone number then you can do that on the website also.

Call at least once a week. I've always been at work and never been able to answer. When I call back it says it has been disconnected. More than anything for me, it's really annoying and I wish they'd stop calling!

Get at least 2 calls from this numbers a day. I had my husband finally answer their call today. A man with a thick Indian accent claimed I won a free T Mobile cell phone. My Husband hung up immediately. Very irritating, and I don't know how in the world they got my number. Please stop these people!

The number called, the answering machine answered, and nobody left a message. I decided to call back and there is a recording stating that the number has been disconnected. However, it doesn't sound like the regular message from the phone service and it does have the beeps at the beginning of the recording making it sound like a disconnected line.

This has got to be some sort of scam or very close to being a scam, why would their number be a disconnected number if its a legit business?

IN MY CASE THEY CALL A HALF DOZEN TIMES A DAY, AND REPEATEDLY ASK FOR HESTER.  EVEN ON THE MACHINE, THEY DON'T ATTEMPT TO LEAVE A MESSAGE, JUST KEEP ASKING FOR HESTER.

CALLED MY CELL PHONE WHILE I WAS AT WORK AROUND 10 A.M. ON A WEDNESDAY.  WHEN I ANSWERED THE CALL, NO ONE SAID ANYTHING, SO I HUNG UP.  I'M PRETTY SURE I'VE GOTTEN CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER BEFORE.

same thing here, offered a free phone, but there was a bunch of people in the background, giggling, so it sounded like a prank phone call.  and i tried to call back a little after, and the operator said that the number was disconnected.  so yes, beware.

Same thing here.  They called saying that my number had been randomly selected by Sprint to receive a free phone.  I told them I already had a phone and hung up.  Sounded fishy, so be careful out there.

got phone call from 1-712-429-0366 said they were trying to give me a sprint cell phone but wanted like drivers license social security numbers for my wife i asked him why he needed so much personal information then he was quick to end the call BEWARE!!! I THINK I MAY HAVE GIVEN TO MUCH INFORMATION SO I WANT TO WARN OTHERS!!
