Sounds like the same calls I've been getting for several months. From information I have gathered on google, it appears to be a company called "American Choice" and awsdirect.com and autowarrantyservice.com.

These sites are owned by a guy named Ralph Mancuso in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

I have filed two complaints through the FCC about this company, and am about to file one with the Federal Trade Commission.

get many call from this #.  NO name or message is ever left.

After some searching, I found out we can report such unwanted phone calls to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Here's the number: 1-877-FTC-HELP (1-877-382-4357). I called to report the number linked to this forum and the person who took my complaint was VERY helpful. She of course, advised me to get on the "Do Not Call List" but also typed up a report on good ol' Greg Rickman, et al. I could hear her typing away as I gave her all that I knew about this scammer.

If you plan to call the FTC, keep track of what your caller I.D. says, what "company" is calling you, whether or not you are allegedly being removed from their call list, and if possible, the name of the agent/scammer you were speaking with...assuming you get to actually speak to someone.

This number has appeared on my caller ID as both Greg Rickman and More Mortgage. I pressed "1" and got a human. As soon as I said, "remove me from your list", the line went dead. If I can find an 800 number for them I'm going to call it a billion times and just let the phone sit. It'll at least cost the jerks some money. hee hee

Same person/number on my id.  Left no message.  When I tried to recall I received a message that the number was not available from my calling area.  Probably an a***ammer, the name sounds as if he'd be an a***ammer.  yep!

I GOT THIS CALL 3 TIMES TODAY SO I INVESTIGATED...I CALLED MY WARRANT COMPANY AND THEY SAID DO NOT ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS FOR THESE PEOPLE THERE BUISNESS IS FRAUDULENT AND THEY ARE HAVING THE AUTHORITIES INVESTIGATE AS WE SPEAK SO IF ANYONE IS READING THIS PLASE DONT ANSWER ANY OF THERE QUESTIONS THE ARE A FAKE!!!!

No message left. Tried to call back...would not go through. Message said number was not available from my area. Strange...

Got a call today also.  A computer stated "Sorry My Fault" and hung up!

Yes I recieved a call today also.  I wasn't home at the time.  The name came up as Greg Rickman.  When I tried to call him back it went to a dead busy signal.  Very Very annoying.  Everyone have a Blessed Day!

Automated call stating that my credit card status was great, but that they could lower my interest rates significantly.  I listened until I heard "press 1 to speak to a service representative, or press 2 to be removed from our list".  Pressed 2 again, for the umpteenth time.  I don't have any blinking credit cards!  What a pain.

Just received a call from712-945-0145.   They left no message.   The ID reads Salix, IA.

No message left.

I received a call from this number today and it was not approved for me to call it back. I wondered if this was a scam because I have never experienced this before.

looks like this scam is taking place this week... had 1 call.

female recording, "Im sorry, my mistake" then they hung up. Can't call it back.

I did not get to speak with anyone, but my guess is it has something to do with awsdirect.com or gawarranty.com.

I have never had a vehicle prerecord before until this week - three of them.

Of intereting note is these two companies are right next door to each other.

This number is sooo annoying. It shows up as a person's name. They left me a voicemail and it was a recording saying "Thank you your number has been removed"

Call wanting to know if I want to extend my warranty but my warranty is already out.  Calls several times a week.

Automated call from this number asking if I wanted to renew my "Extended car warranty".  I do not have a warranty, so I stayed on the line to get taken off their list.  Instead of being rude like I wanted to I asked the guy to check to be sure I one of his customers and that his computer didn't call the wrong number.  He hung up on me.

Calling the number back take me to the national do not call registry.

I hate low lives.
