o message left but keeps calling anyway doesn't answer if I pick up call on second ring even. Why call if you don't want to speak?

This # called several times asking to speak with Nichole. Actually told my wife they were with Missouri Social Services once and knew we did not want "Nichole" talking to them - demanding to speak with her. I have called them back 3 times now pointing out that I am on the "do not call" database, there is no Nichole here. The last time I got the names of the people I spoke to - reiterating my demand that they stop calling. The name of the company is: GRANTSEARCHAID and they also use 712-945-0176 GRANTSEARCHAID & 9203613329 posing as Keith Yedinak with "Prepaid Legal" Services trying to sell them as well - all asking to speak with "Nichole". They called me and told me about a free one week trial, and I told them I didn't want it and asked them to remove me from their list.  Then they asked me if I thought they were a telemarketer and I said yes and they told me I was rude and thanked me for being rude.

Constant calls

they called me several times. I called them to find out who it was. She stated it was with government grants. I then asked her to put me on the no call list. we will see. try it

This number has called 6 times today according to my caller id. I have no idea who it is and they never leave a message. I thought it might be a creditor but wanted to look it up before I answered. They actually called the 6th time while I was reading the above posts. I will not be answering it.

same here! I was in the middle of an international call and it made my call drop!

Got a call at 815am on cell. Hung up because no one was there. My cell is on the do not call list

keeps calling

I've been getting calls from an unknown number for about four days straight. Then this morning, I got a call from 712-945-0177 at 8:47 a.m., then again at 12:27 p.m. Either time, they did not leave a message.  Then they called again at 3:45 p.m. I was getting aggrivated, so I answered it. It was really noisy in the background. The guy had an accent, and asked for me. I just hung up.  I know they are calling from Iowa, because my phone says IA.

I just got a call around 7:30 this morning and I only answered it because I recognized the area code as being the area of Iowa that my fiance's family is from.  But, it was a guy named David who had somewhat of an accent.  He said that they got my number from a recent teeth whitening program on the internet and that they would send me some sort of teeth whitening package.  As soon as I heard this I knew there was a good chance I was going to get roped into paying tons of money for a "free" package so I said, "I'm not interested..."  I started to say "no thank you" and he raised his voice at me saying, "You are interested, ma'am..."  I tried saying "no thank you" again and he just kept repeating "yes you are interested" and continued to talk.  I raised my voice at him saying "NO THANK YOU" and hung up.  Kinda freaky!!  I thought at first that it was one of my fiance's friends or family members playing a joke on me so that's why I searched the number.  No results came up on the reverse lookup option on anywho.com which is kind of weird if it's supposedly a "company" or "organization" that's claiming that I'm definitely "interested" in their teeth whitening product!!  NO THANK YOU!!!!

Twice a call was made to my cell phone, by the time picked up call was stopped. What is this number? Does anyone know???

This is the 3rd time I have recived a call from this number. Every day its about 1pm central standard time. I answerd it only once. When I did there was no person on the onther end. Its getting anoying.

UPDATE TO POST:
I am fairly ceratin that this is a collections agency.  I did some research and my results point to Premier Collections in Iowa.  (aka Premier Bankcard) with whom I do not have a card but do have a debt dispute with a creditor where they "bought" out the debt in dispute.

Same thing - I called back and got put on hold in a queue.  This is a new number so I am curious to know if anyone else is using an IP based line as I am.  Also, they have called SEVERAL times  and they never leave a message.  Maybe some collections people?  I am going to block it.

hi. i got a call today from the same #.  they must have thought i picked up and asked for me on my voicemail.  they knew my name and said "hello" about 8 times. wierd.

I got this call at 10:13 am EDT, May 8, 2007, and the number was 712-945-0177. Since the number was unfamiliar to me, I let it ring and waited for a voicemail. No message was left. When I looked up the area code, I found this page with a list of many simlar numbers from that area code. I plan not to answer any of these calls.
