this company is calling my work it is fustarating because they change reasons why they want personal info

Sometimes when they call they are a law firm and sometimes they are the US Crime Breau.  Saying they have a lawsuit against my ss number.  They have been calling for about 6 months and are now calling my job.  Good thing is my manager is also getting calls from them and knows they are a scam.

Try calling them back, and they get very frustrated when you start asking them questions.

Just got a call from these people I turned them into the FTC.

My mom of 68 years of age called me very upset and stated she received a phone call from the above number informing her that she owed a loan company 300.00.  They were going to call the police and place her  in jail if she did not pay them 550.00.  Furthermore, they wanted her to go to a Wal-mart and purchase pay cards and then she was to give them the sque number of the cards.  I called the number they answered USCB Law Firm, when I asked for their address they told me they were out of Dallas TX.  The gentleman on the other line became extremely frustrated with me yelling an swearing at me  when I began asking him such questions as could you tell me what day the deposit was made into her account because her bank is not showing such a deposit, who is your client,or why are you asking for walmart pay cards and not a bank certified check.   When I informed him that this was nothing but I scam and hung up on him he then continued to call me using vulgarity and insisted that he was going to call me til I put my mom on the phone. I had to call my wierless company to put a block on his number and my mom had to call her local cable company to change her home phone number.  My mom once a  year  or two back got one of these pay loans. I believe this is a former employee who had access to not only her information but the information of thousands of other people.  PLEASE this is nothing but A SCAM.  Don not let them con you into paying them money you don't owe.  I hope this was helpful.  No Law firm I don't care how much money you owe them let alone 300.00 would behave in such a manner, using vulgarity and threatening you especially when they tell you that the call is being recorded.  They were angry cause I called them out on their SCAM.

I started getting calls from this a-hole about a week ago...strong indian accent and sounds like he's talking into a tin can phone...says I'm being sued for a pay-day loan that I did not pay back. He went so far as to mention the name of my bank and said that a withdrawal had failed due to lack of funds. First of all, I've never gotten a pay-day loan...EVER! But whats really disturbing is that this guy knows my bank, my cell, and HE CALLED ME AT WORK!! I printed out the posts on this page and gave it to the front-desk girl, letting her know what was happening. This is not only a pain, but embarrassing for me at work...wtf?

I have had calls from this same number saying they are from the "Crime Bureau" and they are putting a lawsuit on my name and SSN which they dont have!!   I told him to go for it and let me know what comes out of it. I dont owe them.. This is ridiculous!!

this is a scammer - claims to be from a law firm - but will not say which one - just "law firm" Also said he was from California - but the number shows up as Houston, Texas.  When you call the number back you get a message saying the "magic jack customer is unavalable" Really - what reputable law firm would be using magic jack.  He said I commited "cyber crime" by taking aout an internet loan and not paying it back. I have no loans (but school and car) - and i informed him of this. He said if i did not make restitution I would go to jail for a few years. He could not give me any detials about this "loan" like how much, when it was taken out or the company that gave it to me.  If you get a call fortm these chucklheads dont fall for thier lies. They have stolen your info - I have been dealing with these calls for over a year.
