Received an urgent call from Brenda to call regarding roofing.  Looked up Walton roofing and has nothing to do with them.  Looked up on Google and realized this is a scam.  Did not bother calling back.

I received a voice mail from Brenda Lawson claiming that her boss had asked her to call me about a roofing issue.  The call came in after business hours which seemed strange to me.  The message said she was with FW Walton (?), however, I have never used this company before in my facility.  When I returned the call at 7:30 AM the next morning, Elaine answered the phone "commercial services" (very generic) and told me that Brenda had just stepped into a closed door meeting, and that she could help me.  She began by trying to ask me a lot of questions -- who I was, what the name of my business was, etc. -- trying to glean as much information as she could.  I quickly cut her off and asked about the nature of the "issue" Brenda was calling about.  Elaine then launched into a sales pitch for roofing services, how Walton had been in business for 50 years, blah blah blah.  I cut her off again and admonished her for being deliberately deceptive in their sales practices and ended the call.

Claimed to represent a local roofing contractor, but the number did not match the one on the contractor's web site. Sounded like a large call center. Said they were going to be in our area this week and wanted to have somebody stop by to provide an estimate. Funny thing is that the company they said to rep is only about 3 miles from here, so they are in the area every day. I suspect she did not really represent FW Walton. 10 minutes later I got another call from another roofing company. Same story with them, but not as pushy.
