Credit collection agency. File complaint with better business bureau, AND ESPECIALLY with Attorney General's office for Texas. Ask for their mailing address. Send them certified letter stating that any further communication be written. Document any calls you get from them after the date of receipt of your letter. If If they call your cell phone, use documentation from billing to support your records. I would wait until they had called about 2 dozen times then take all documentation to an attorney about filing suit. The penalties are stiff. One lady did the above and won a 100+ million dollar suit. The law is pretty clear about when they can call. If in Texas, I would also record all calls. Contrary to popular belief, only one party of the conversation has to be aware that a recording is taking place. As with all legal matters, seek the advice of an attorney in your area as laws differ from place to place. I believe the law about not calling you once they have received written notice is Federal. Having them stop calling you by written notification works even if a debt is owed. They are also required to remove your name from any call list if notified they have the wrong number listed. Continue to recieve calls (on my cell) from this number. When I answer, they hang up!

This number calls me 5x a day and are looking for someone that has never lived here!  I asked them to update the records and they LAUGHED AND SAID WE'LL SEE!  Sick and tired of this!!!
