They call and ask about someone who does not live here.
We have told them, but they continue to call

they keep calling asking for a man i do not even know..i want it to stop..

document dates, times of calls, and the person they are asking for... contact credit attorney. get paid for the harrassment.

they call up to 6 times a day. do not leave messages and just blow up my phone!!

I have gotten several calls from this number, never any messages.  I have never received any mail from this company either, which by the way is illegal. Sounds like they have a "wonderful" reputation.

They called they said in reference to someone else's ss # They were told not to call back.

Continous calls to my cell phone. Sounds like a gay meetup service or something. They never identified themselves.

Got a call from the 1060 number today, I assume from Houston. I was in a parking lot and couldn't hear who or what company they were from, but I do know the female on the call started saying some very rude things, although she never said what she was calling about, just "how long do you intend to not discuss the issue"

What issue? was not answered. But further asked if I was (name), and of course I asked her who was calling, with no response, so she did say I was evading. Evading what? was my response.

Then I lost it, and told her she ought to know what she's calling about, who she's calling and she seemed evasive, and it was my f__ing phone she called and I thought most people had some clear reason for calling not some cute f__ing game she appeared to be playing.

she was, (gasp), shocked and asked if I was swearing at her. of fu_ing course I am you f__ing dumb *(*(^

Guess she didn't expect that from a female. A few minutes later, I call i.d. blocked and discovered it was redline. I have no idea what debt they think I owe, but it could be one of many now - but don't care, cuz I'm jobless and disabled now. I'm apparently very articulate still..although extremely angry :)

These people keep calling me, I told them whoever their trying to reach doesn't live here and that I would have my lawyer file a complaint on them. They seem persistent. I also can't understand how just anyone can f**k up your credit report. if anyone can help me clean up my credit report please let us know below.

I get messages from them 2-3 times a week at work.  Today's call came from 1-713-423-1060, which is a Texas area code.  They are computer-generated calls that usually ask for Susan Clements, but sometimes it's some other name (and one time the automated call asked for "not available" and said "not available" was calling).  I have had this number for at least 20 years at the large organization I work for, so it can't be that my number recently belonged to someone with credit problems.  I saw a TV news documentary about companies like this.  They are shady, sleazy boiler-room operations run and staffed by lowlife bottom-feeder extortionists and scammers.  I tried to call the number the automated message asked me to call, but nobody ever answered.  I'm sick of these people cluttering my work voicemail with their stupid messages several times a week.  Somebody should put these people in jail.

yeah, same problem as everyone else. either no one on the other end, or a rude a f**k man. tried calling number back and it never even rang. If you see this number, either don't pick up or threaten legal action.

Just got a call from a company called REDLINE but the number was 713-423-1059, so I assume they have another number as well as the 1060 too.

Thank you for the information on this website, I was lucky and not in when they called, but now I know and can be prepared if they do so again.

I have had this same problem of someone calling.  Just tell them that the call is being recorded and that it will be forwarded over to your attorney.  That should hopefully stop the calls.

Some guy calls me and demands to know if I am ____ ____. When I ask who it is he tells me he knows that I am that person or I am screening their calls and that it is in my "best interest" to answer him or I could be in deep legal trouble.  He tells me he is is in the "Prelegal Department" but won't tell me what company, his name, or what the problem is.  He said I "had better" call back and give them the pin number he is about to give me.  The whole time he is rude.  I told him to leave me alone that he is rude, f-ing rude.  If he wants to talk to me about a problem then give me the information.  He said, no, I have to call back and they will tell me why I am in deep legal trouble.
I hung up and identified the number so I will not answer it again.

Have received these calls almost everyday for the last 2-3 weeks.  Can not make out the recorded words.  Says this call is only for -----------  the silence, then nothing.  I called the number back and got a person named Linda.  She said she was looking for a Sherry Wedermere.??????  Have no idea who this is and told them to stop calling my house.

Asked for person who used to have this number (i get calls for them from collections all the freaking time!) Figured it was a collection call again.

Recorded voice of female.  "This is not a telemarketing call. This call is specifically for (first name last name)"  Then nothing.

The person requested does not live here.

Caller asked for employee.  Told them employees can't take personal calls.
he insisted on leaving a message.  Left a different number-1-866-281-4502.

no one on other end of line, silence only.  Hang up and within minutes get a second call from the same #, still just silence.  on 3 week of these phone calls.  This happens about 3 to 4 times each week.

Got a very difficult to understand call, obviously done by a text-to-speech computer program. The name of the person they're supposedly trying to reach and their business name are completely muffled. I've gotten three calls from them today, with no indication of how I can let them know they have the wrong number.

No surprises here. Chronic FDCPA violators.

All of the owners in this organization came from various other debt collector back grounds from across the country. They jumped on the debt buying frenzy a few years ago to cash in on the endless flow of cheap, purchased paper. Their main call center is located in Buffalo, NY, run by Joe Moran, a  man with a terrible reputation in the collection industry, earning him the nickname of ?Sleazy Joe.? The information received from current and former employees from Buffalo was of rampant drug use and a complete disregard for the FDCPA by the Buffalo collectors. Of course all bottom feeders would like you to believe they are honest, reputable and operate in a business like fashion, however Redline never even made it out of the gate. They were tattooed with labels that befit most of the disgusting low-life organizations that operated in and around Buffalo, NY for the past few years.

I predict that Redline will downsize greatly by year end, that the available paper will force them to rethink and reinvent, if they plan to survive. Their name and reputation will likely have a negative effect on their abilities to procure more business and they may end becoming a subsidiary of another organization or collecting other owner?s debts for a fraction of what they are now earning.

Redline has seen its bets days; the year ahead will be lean and problematic. Consumers are urged to make them spend as much money as possible in debt validation, forms and calls.

Dispute anything/everything on credit reports, tape their calls, and go after them with the full force of the consumer law industry. They are not that strong, or won?t be as time goes on; this organization is too fat and thinks they are entrenched in an industry that is moving at warp speed. I would NOT pick Redline as a survivor in this game.

Asked for a Kevin Black, when I stated no one by that name at this phone number, a man started cussing at me and said he knew there was someone by that name. He stated his name was Herb Blevins....Said he didn't like the way I was talking to him.  I tried to get a company name and he hung up on me.

I got a call from this number and the guy was trying to collect a debt from someone that dont live here. He asked if I knew the person and I said I don't know who that is...Then he said, "I didn't asked if you knew who that was, I asked if you knew the person". I told him well if I didn't know who that person was, how can I know the person.

I told him to stick his finger in his butt..and beat his meat until he go into a coma....
