These people are nuts!! Calling a wrong number and when I call back the receptionist transfers to a boy who answers the phone "Law Office" and states he didn't call because no message was left. Idiots......too bad imma Teleterrorist myself so they too will now get calls every 5 minutes or so?

Mail a cease and desist letter to the Townhurst address to stop the calls.

If you do not owe a payment to a large telephone company or an electric company,
go to FTC dot gov to enter a complaint. If enough people enter complaints, the FTC
will fine them and order them to follow the FCRA federal collection rules.
If you enter a message here "stop calling me" it goes nowhere
and cisco will continue to harrass you.
Never agree to send any money, because that will re-start their collection statute clock.
They will become more aggressive as they reach the two year statute of limitations
dated from the original invoice, which cisco must send to you.
Take the time to force cisco and other bill collectors to follow the Federal rules.

The switchboard transferred me to another person who put me on hold for 10 minutes.

I called back again and they hung up in my ear.

I called back again and was transferred to a man who stated that he had a broken elbow and couldn't dial correctly. No excuse for not stating "I'm sorry I must have dialed the wrong number".

This is supposed to be a professional accounts receivable company. Judge for yourself.

Don't know who this is or why but I don't answer unidentifable numbers or messages that do not state why they are calling.

2.23pm CST We aren't answering any unknown numbers.  On occassion we get calls for our neighbors since we have a land line.  We don't pass on messages just tell them to stop calling us.  It was difficult when we had only voice mail.  What a time consuming process.  With the answer machine mostly all of the calls are for us now.  Sometimes automated messages are left but most just show up on the caller Id with no message.

Just got a call from this #,I answered and I heard noise in the background but they hung up. Google search shows a collection agency. I know it's not for me because I don't have any bills. However I've had collection companies calling for my neighbors before. CRAZY!

Been getting a plithera of unknown callers...just got one from this #, looked it up and its under Cisco in Texas...it really pisses them off when you pick up the call and don't say anything........just sayin'....my credit is excellent...so is my husband's and so is his business'...we don't owe anyone$$$$$ so, how on earth can these jack***es still call?  People must really be desparate to have such an annoying occupation.......

Just got a call from this number. It was Cisco Collect calling for another person. They had the wrong number but they have called my phone several times trying to reach this person. Apparently she has a $700 balance with AT&T. Hopefully the calls will stop soon.

I got a call from this number and he/she left a message.  The message was just heavy breathing for about 1-2 minutes.

I have reported them to the FTC and FCC. They need more complaints in order to file suit and to get them to stop their harrassment and illegal business practices.  Was advised to write letter to them stating they are to present written copies of bills and state you are disputing charges because they are false or exagerated.  CISCO 1702 Townhurst Drive Houston TX

i got a call from them the man said he was collecting a debt for at&t when i told him i didnt owe that much and hung up he called back anf threatened to kill my family- put a hit out on me and the family. is this legal in the usa?

CJ, he just called me about 20 minutes ago.  Very very rude man and he wouldn't give his name or say why he was calling.  He kept telling me how rude I was and that he found my number on the internet.  I am going to call and report him.

I keep getting phone calls from 713-461-9407,  the rudest man ever at my work phone number. He is trying to collect a debt from my old boss. I had set up the account with ATT but I did not sign the papers. My boss did. He was so mean to me on the phone and I told him to quit calling my work place and he threatened that he is going to get a lawyer and sue me.

I received a call from this number.  The "lady" on the other end was extremely rude, even after I explained to her that the number she was calling was a business phone.  She got even worse after I told her I could not tell her when I expected the owner back in the office.  WOW !

Yup...Collections agency, I paid off my debt and it's been removed from my credit thanks god. I hate getting calls every month, never again will I mess up my credit.
