Houston area Time Warner WAS purchased by Comcast several years ago.  I was a Time Warner customer, and now a Comcast customer.  Time Warner may still be a separate entity in some parts of the country, but in others the acquisition did take place.

Actually, Time Warner was bought out by Comcast. So essentially, same company, different name.

Have told comcast they have the wrong number several times yet that continue to call. Have never done business with comcast and never will. They say they will make a note this is the wrong number but they keep calling.

This number is Comcast, an extended "service" department. Whether or not they extend service from the CSR level is totally debatable. I hate Comcast.

As everyone else has said, this is Comcast, which if you are in the Houston area is Time Warner, but as far as I know Time Warner still exists under its own name in other parts of the country, so there is no point calling each other ignorant names over it. C'mon people. Let's be adults...

They called my cellphone from this number about a service call and it was not a solicitation.

you're the numnuts here..Time Warner Cable and Comcast are two different companies. Educate yourself before lashing out with ignorant remarks.

Got a call from this number.  I don't use Time Warner Cable anymore.  Our cable service in Houston was switched to Comcast.
