This is a call from the University of Phoenix referencing the Alumni Association. I recently finished my BSB/M and registered with the alumni association, however, I think that this call was to try to find out if I was considering coming back for my MBA.

University of Phoenix. Mara McCracken at the Houston campus.  says her callback number is 281-566-5028.  she said she wants to talk to me about my enrollment experiences/follow-up because she knows i have gone through the enrollment process previously.

i have never enrolled in University of Phoenix, or anywhere other than the one university i actually attended.  Also, this number called my cell phone, which i have never put on any college-related paperwork because i didn't get a cell phone until after i was out of college.  The callback number Mara McCracken gave me is not linked to any publicly listed University of Phoenix number.

can't tell if this is legitimately a wrong number or not (decided to check on here first though, and saw one other entry from almost three years ago so maybe it is just a wrong number?), but i am going to notify University of Phoenix through other channels in case this is a cold/sales call.

yeah, this number is calling you because you entered your number on an inquiry about online colleges. Just answer the phone and tell them you have already found a school.

then pick up the phone and say please stop calling, its not rocket science.  You probably filled something out that prompted them to call.

Called me earlier today, didnt bother to answer, just waited until it hung up. Checked on google, and a bunch of university (Houston, TX was the first site) pages come up. If it really was this university calling, i dont really care since i have never contacted them, or even considered going there.
