I had the same experience as Ian.  local Houston # on ID.  I called # back during their Pacific business hours - recording stated they were closed, call back......

somebody just call-ask for name-hang up the phone quick ???.
. after 1 hour i  Called back at 1.45pm CST and the recording said their office was closed and to call back during regular business hours of 7 am -4 pm Pacific time.  
Why would a Houston area code say pacific time???

Somehow they knew I had a Pontiac g6 but the car isn't in my name when I asked the "supervisor" how she got that info and that she was probably a scammer she hung up on me I called back immediately and it said it was closed!!

Receive one call from them a day.  If this is the fake car warranty scam, I am also receiving generic "official" mail.  They don't even know what kind of car I have, but they insist my warranty is running out.  They list several models to try and cover their bases.

When I answer I never hear anyone on the other end. Maybe because I hang up too quickly.

Stupid telemarket.  rea code shows local number for me but they swap these numbers up all the time.  Like I am going to pick up the phone JUST BECaUSE the call is local .  Stupid

The area code is local for my area. But once I googled - I found what is really going on.  Stupid waste my time scammers. Obama should be doing something about this instead of messing with healthcare.  Geeeees !

These people call over & over again...their number keeps changing but the calls persist.

Who is this calling?

Abusive sales pitch, "Mike" hung up on me, when I asked why he had lied to me when I asked if he was selling someshing.

Trying to sell motor vehicle extended warranties.

Received a call from this number. Did not answer, but I know it's a scammer because the caller i.d. was V2021108 3600105 which is a scramble code to cover their real number which originates from the 360 area code. That is host to many of these telemarketing calls.

I answered and the person said it is movie day at the rehab.  I told him to take our number off his list.  Which I know he won't.
