i have been getting voicemail and alot of phone calls from these guys its really annoying and one day i was told to go screw myself these guys had my phone number address place of employment and ss number they get your info if you have done different things online that have not been secured

everyone - whether you took out a payday or not, please call you attorney general immediately.  They are completely harrassing me and my NEIGHBOR!    I got acall from neil johson - 713-554-9860 and george taylro 888-387-1419.

have been receiving calls also.  been going on for a while now.  I did a google search and there is a firm by that name BUT the phone number is like 2 off.    These t**** heads and other descriptive fit them right.  probably earning $6.00/week to scam others.  Best thing is not answer the phone.. know its annoying but over time they will get tired and stop..    write ALL numbers down and save.  put a whistle next to phone and if call blow hard and long into phone, see how that rattles their goat  I do, don't get too many more calls...

I get the same call as everybody else they leave me a message about 3 to for times a week.
Isn't there a way to get then to stop calling.
Just the sound of thier voice get's me fired up.

I keep getting them and yes, they are saying ss# under investigation..  I do not understand one thing, they are very mean when you are not responding to them or when you hang up 3 times then they call back a 4th, buy then they are very angry.  They verablly abuse you.  They do announce themselves a Woods law firm and all the rest like everyone else.  Please someone help me stop this.

Starting calling 9/23 on cell & house phone. Dude named Neil Johnson, says he works for an attorney called Woods Lawfirm for US Cash Advance stating a payday loan. Wow really....told that foreigner to go kick rocks then told that fool that my husband was going to whip his a%@ soon as we can get tickets to Pakistan!! So to be on the safe side contacted FTC.Gov(Federal Trade Commission) and filed a report, then called (888)397-3742(Experian.com) and added fraud alerts to my file.And guess what a new fool is calling from same place....

A man calling himself "Mark Wilson" called claiming that I have a lawsuit application against my name and social security number. Claimed that if I didn't call back that there would be consequences. He sounded eastern Indian. I have had similar calls from different numbers from around the US saying the same thing. They all have eastern indian accents. It stands to reason that these calls are not originating from inside th e US but possibly India or maybe Pakistan.

This is a scam and please report it to the FBI. They also left me a message and I couldn't understand them with their accent. These  lazy people should go out and get a real job and stop trying to steal money from american people. The Woodland Law firm stated that they are not making the phone calls and plus never heard of Marc Olson. The FBI is doing the investigation

I keep getting calls from this number saying that a family member has committed a fraud and used me as a reference and that if I don't call back legal actions will b charged against me.

I know they called and said that I owed a payment of 185 and if i didnt pay it that when it went to court I would pay 3200...WOW what a jump! needlesss to say I was not very nice with them at that point

So i have been getting calls from them for 2 days now. Before 8 am..errrr... You can not hardly understand them at all. They called my "references" Which is very embarrassing. So yesterday i called them back and said send me paperwork and i would gladly go over it and discuss it with them. The person argued with me on how would they know all this info..I informed them that i know how skip tracing works and he hung up on me. This morning i got another call and after reading all the posts on this page I called them up and let them know if I continue to recieve calls that I would press harassment charges. The person on the phone asked for my name. I gave him my first name only and he said that I would no longer be recieving calls from them. This is ridculous

Please, don't anyone take this the wrong way, but I am so glad to know that I am not the only one who is being annoyed, harrassed, and generally pissed off by these idiots.  I almost have to laugh at "Rick" or "Eric" or whoever the heck he's claiming to be (I think he used "Brock" once--that was a good one!) because he always ends his stupid phone calls with "have a nice day".  Hmmm....anyone who has ever had a REAL debt collector call knows that they never want you to have a nice day!  LOL.  Anyway, this jerk has been calling me for over a week.  Since it seems that they are in Pakistan, there's not a heck of a lot we can do except perhaps block the number.  Has anyone come up with any other ideas?

I have been getting these calls for about month from three or four different #'s they have even called me and the #came up as my full ss#. These wholes have called my work everyday for two weeks and have cussed out my boss. I just got a call from a Pakastanian named Eric Johnson that works at "Woods Law Firm".  First of all, no American lawyer is going to hire someone who can barely speak English.  Secondly, Eric Johnson? Really?  How American!  Now this is what Eric said: He needs to discuss my case number with me because I have some kind of lawsuit going on.  He also said if this matter does not get taken care of it could result in jail time.  How about next time he calls...I tape record it and give that to my lawyer(s) so I can put a lawsuit against him?  I heard the jails over at Pakastan aren't so clean.  Then, when he gets extradited the white supremacist will beat the living s*** out of him everyday for taking over all the
7-11's.

Same here... they have been calling for about a week now. I asked them to send me documentation of this "so called" lawsuit.  And he got very rude! Saying stuff like "expect subpoena papers soon"  they also asked for a payment of like 100 and something dollars.  Said we owed like 540 bucks on a payday loan... i have NO payday loans.  This is a Scam if I've ever heard of one.  The only thing that worries me is they knew my husbands first and last name (which they pronounced wrong) the last 4 of his ss# and they also called his job.  How in the HELL did they get this info??

we have been getting the same calls and when they just called the number that showed up was 1-554-9856... this is not even a freaking telephone number.  I spoke with them the other day and they told me it was over a payday loan we done over the internet.. which is IMPOSSIBLE since we do not have a checking out to do a payday loan with.  I think this is a HUGE scam.

9/21/11 Rec'd call from foreigners that I could hardly understand telling me I was under investigation.  They wanted to confirm my address and social security information.  I did not confirm anything except to tell them that I want the calls to stop!  The call my place of employment as well as my cell phone.  The information they gave me was as follows:

Same story here.  Some tidbits of personal information, an awful sounding connection with a heavy accent that did not match the gender or ethnicity of the name provided, and some questionable claims about financial documents, blah blah blah.

Just tell them to follow-up with a letter sent through the US postal system, who by the way investigates fraud and scamsters, and you'll be in touch.... if they ask for an address, tell 'em if they are legit, they'll have it on file.

If you call the number back a couple times and say things like you know they r in Pakastan how r u suing me in Houston. After about the 3rd time they do NOT answer phone, or will hang up. They must have caller ID and we figured that we would annoy them like they have us. Whats the worse that they can happen besides you getting a chuckle at making them get flustered like they have  you.

My husband as a laugh called that number and gave them a fake name. After a small altercation, he then called the real law firm and we was told that they was calling from across seas and FBI can not do nothing about it. He then called the scammers back and asked where they was calling from and the guy replied PAKASTAN... He then said the real law firm is tired of the phone calls and that the FBI was involved and not to call anybody. So when you get the phone call ask them where they are really at and get a real number for that country I am sure that will help the real law firm to get this settled.

I seen a call caome in from these guys and they left a voicemail and then I googled it and found this web page. I proceeded to call them back and asked "what law firm" and they replied woods in TX and I said that I called them and they do litigation for accidents and I was told that it was none of my business that I was being sued for a financial loan from a couple months back. Now I never said my last name and they got my first name really wrong but if I did not take care of this right now that they was going to court in the morning. I then told him to stop the contact or the next time I would proceed with legal action for harrasment. This was the second time I had talked to these idiots. So we will see if they call back.

This is the second threatning phone call that i have received in four days! They are very annoying, rude and have names that don't come close to their accents! How do you stop the harassment? They even called my job today when i was not at work. They say if they don't hear from me or my attorney that i can have severe penaltys.

I am getting multiple messages from this firm - different people - all with heavy Indian accents, both on my work phone and cell phone#.  
I would never respond to a call regarding a debt - if it was a legal matter they would NEVER call you but send a certified letter.

I received an harrassing phone call stated that i took  out and payday loan in july which i never did then  he called my home and job Neil Johnson and i could barely understand what the hell he was saying that there taking a law suit out on me as of the next day. he also knew what bank i had and my home address how can we stop these people from harrassing us.

ok i just got the call from "woods" law firm, i tried calling the # they called from that came up on my caller id and it was diconected, i called the # they left and apparently there is a very serious lawsuit against me (hmmm go figure) i guess i took out a payday loan etc... well see heres the thing i only have 1 bank account, and i just happen to be the manager of that bank, after about 5 or 10 min of him saying there is a serious lawsuit he finally gave me the name of something cash ( i could hardly understand) so i told him listen, i have never took out a payday loan from that company, and i happen to work at the bank that it was supposidly done at and.. if they didnt quit calling i would file a flipping suit against them.  hmmm i guess they didnt like that cuz they hung up on me :)

Received two call today from 5549856 leaving a message that they are investigating my SS# and that I should contact the Woods Law Firm at 713-554-9860. I researched the Woods Law Firm and they are out of Houston, Tx, with a seperate number and they do litigation for accidents. I have not been in an auto accident.
