same story as above - next chapter.  So since they call several times a day, I have decided to give them a piece of their own medicine.  I drive four hours a day - to and from work.  So I have alot of time on my hands.  I have started calling back with all kinds of strange calls.  I change my name each time.  And have a different funny story each time.  Sometimes I sing etc etc.  

They hang up on me, I call right back.  and so on and so on.  

The last person I got asked me not to call THEM anymore.  

Turn the tables on them.  I think on the way home today I will call them and blow my son's ear horn.....

I just received a phone call for my 30 year old son.  The phone call id was 713-589-7235 - the return call number that they left was 800-824-6191.  I called - the company's name is 1st National Collection Bureau.  I got stuck with Jake and explained that they are calling a work cell phone number and I have contacted them repeatedly to stop.  That these phone calls are eating up minutes - he asked if I knew 'my son's name' and I told him yes.  He then asked if I had a current phone number for him - I told him to get off his butt and find it himself - evidentially they could find his mother!  I told 'Jake' that my company had a record of receiving and responding to his company's calls and that I was going to 'sue' if it continued - I think that I will contact the Atorney General's office and file a complain - this will cover the 'local' number and 800 number for 1st National Collection - I would suggest that we all do the same thing.....each state has their own Attorney General's office and (most of them) have their own website.

The best piece I can give any readers is do not awnser any numbers you do not know! Do not call back idiots that say they need to talk to you about important business matters! Really, I have an office a private extension and anyone I do business with has this information. Secondly, if someone claims they are an attorney and trys to stong arm you ask for there bar number and what state they are licensed to practice in. So many of these people are low level bottom feeders trying to get anything they can from people that work for a living it is awful. Lastly, NEVER return automated messages or any kind of threatening bs about case files and please have your attorney contact us....This is all a scam to get you on the phone! If they are not leaving messages that means one thing...they do not want proof other than the call out in cyberspace. So, do not pick up. Most of my friends leave a name number and time of call and sometimes a funny message. If a mystery caller calls you leaving none of these I would rethink a return call but thats just me.

They call my cell and they dont say who they are or what it is about they just say i owe them money but i dont know who i owe money to.. they become rude and wont tell me anything. So I am not going to pay someone that i dont know what or who i owe money too. I also pulled my Credit report from all 3 creditors and this one was not on there so I dont know who they are.

The calls from phone # 713-589-7235 (based in Pasadena, TX) is actually being placed by 1st National Collection Bureau in Sparks, NV.  Their system will cause a local phone # to appear on your caller ID but then, when you try and search them out - you run into walls.  We can help - if you're ready for it!

I do not know this person. Please do not call

I've never answered the calls simply because I do not answer a call from a number I don't know. However, I've been getting half a dozen or so calls most every day for several weeks.  Today I plugged the number into my computer to see if anything came up and I find this list of other victims. I gather this does not fall under the telemarketer ban on calls.

Have been getting calls from this number for weeks several times per day. Get a recording to call an 800 number. Called the 800 number but they are Calvary Collection Agency. They are looking for someone with the same last name but it is no one in this house. I have asked to stop calling but they keep on and on. They are also calling my work number and leaving messages for me to get in tuch with this person and them to call the 800 number. They will not listen when I tell them that no one with that name lives here and I do not know anyone with that first name. I just picked up a recorder that I can record conversations of the phone so I can start getting information from them to pursue legal action against them.

these people have called several times looking for an ex-sister in law who divorced my brother 6 years ago and they called threatening us to give the ex-sister in law the message that she has court next week and they are filing on her. No matter what we say , we continue to get these calls. the called ID says ( Unknown) then when the Unknown calls another call comes in  back to back this message recorder calls also with a recorderded message for this ex-sister in law.

Quick update...even though I was told I would be removed, sure enough Thursday rolls in and they call again. Every Thursday and Friday. ugh!

I have been receiving calls asking to speak to someone I don't know. They also call a few times a day for a couple of days and then they stop. Then they do it all over again. I have called and asked to be removed, I said I do not know the person they are trying to reach and I will appreciate if they can remove my number. The operator on the other end stated that they would call phone directory and contact him and then he hung up. I really hope they remove my name. These interruptions are getting annoying!

Have been getting calls from this number for months. They sometimes call 5 or 6 times a day and then they stop and a week or so later they call again. They are a collection agency and the automated message ask for someone that I do not know. Can not get them to stop. Have complained to my phone company. I will be contacting the state about them.

they keep calling my cell phone up to ten times a day. dont even know who the person they are asking for is. i keep pressing 2 if your not this person but they keep calling back

Debt collection company

this company calls many times a day and does not leave a message.

They call several times a day, if I answer there is no one there, they never leave a message

They call a business main number asking for an individual who no longer works here.  They are a collection agency.  They asks for personal information on this individual.  Evidentially this number was given as a reference some years ago.  They have been asked not to call back.

Got a call from 713-589-7235.  Did not leave a message.  They call frequently.

Caller asked for someone I DO NOT KNOW

It was an automated message asking to call 888-882-9846, which appears to be owned by calvary portfolio - a collection agency.
