I receive calls constantly from this phone number. When I pick up the phone the person just laughs and hangs up.

If there is a number but no voicemail, I NEVER call back. If it is a number I don't recognize and the call is important, there WILL be a voicemail.

Ahhh...OKAY. That makes sense. I did speak with EZ Money once because I called back the phone number that called me - this was from an area code I actually used to live in, they had left me a message to call them back. I was totally clueless because I owe no money. My ex-boyfriend gave my phone number as a reference (when we were dating and I had no idea this happened). Needless to say, I asked her to take me off as a reference as I told her I don't know his whereabouts and I don't speak to any of his friends. She told me she would take me off the list. APPARENTLY NOT. Now I had a random number with a Houston area code? I will not open the door of communication with him again, and knowing him he will never pay his bill. Great.

I GET THESE DAMN CALLS LOOKING FOR SOME STUPID BROAD WHO STIFFED THEM AND GAVE THEM A MADE UP NUMBER WHICH OF COURSE ENDED UP BEING MINE. This company is EZ Money. I've received numerous calls from them looking for my sister in law who cannot manager her money. She's listed me as a reference and that is why I keep getting the calls. I'm sooo frustrated with her.
