ASK FOR OWNER-  one more time, but another number.

This number has called under the caller ID of "ENCORE" non stop for weeks now.  We have been screamed at from the initial pick up, cursed out, and then hung up on.  Only once have we actually had someone that would talk calmly and we asked that out number be removed from their list.  We have continued receiving calls since.

Called and asked for the owner by his first name. Told he was not available, she asked if another one of the "owners" was available. I said no & asked if I could take a message (knowing the call was BS) was told No, and I hung up.

Got 2 calls from them yesterday asking for the owner. Asked to be placed on their do not call list both times. They called again today, made a loud noise and hung up. Tried to call the number back but am stuck in a loop between a recording, pressing one, hold music, and the recording again. Caller ID says Encore.

I get these all the time, same thing.

Today I called Encore:  Encore Payment Systems, LLC   Phone: (866) 909-8910 and spoke with "Megan", who promised to take my company OFF of their call list and also to speak with her supervisor to provide a report of my experience.  She was polite and professional.   Maybe if enough folks call this 866 number to remind Encore that there are hefty fines associated with making telemarking calls to numbers on the Do Not Call registry, they might change their practices.  Or perhaps hell will freeze over.  

Best advice ever...when they call and ask for the owner, ask them to please hold...set the phone down and walk away!  They are wasting my time, why should I not waste theirs!

They call my place of business everyday. They ask for someone by their first name only. When I ask for the last name, they just hang up.

I posted on the 15th of April and the saga continues. Encore called again on April 21st about "law changes regarding credit card processing". The caller told me that she was going to have a sales rep in my area soon and wanted him to stop in. I told her that Encore had already contacted me and sent out a sales rep. I told her that I was not interested then and I am not interested now. So guess who walks into my office this morning at 9:45am? The same confused looking sales rep from Encore. He believed that he had an appointment with me. I told him that I did not request an appointment and I would not be sharing any information with him. He said alright but he would have to call his boss. He used his cell to call and, once again, handed his phone to me. This time his "boss" asked if the sales rep was courteous. I said that he was and handed the phone back to the rep. The poor rep seemed very confused and shuffled out the door mumbling "I wonder where my next appointment is".

Credit card processing company. They asked for owner, which I am. They asked if I accepted credit cards & if I was aware of the new law. Told them I wasn't interested in changing carriers & hung up. They called right back & said they just wanted to have an agent stop by the next day at 1pm to give me an analysis of my credit card statement. I told them no & hung up. Imagine my surprise when a confused looking "agent" walked into my office the following day at 1pm!! Told him I was happy with my current provider & I was not going to let him look at my statements. He said alright but he would have to call his "boss" in Texas to tell him that. He called his boss on his cell phone & promptly handed his phone to me so I could explain my position to his superior!! His boss tried to argue with me but I handed the phone back to the agent & asked him to leave. Unbelievable!!

713-714-5829 = Magic Butt Plugs from Space Sales?

Caller may have said they were selling magic butt plugs from outer space.  I am not 100% certain as the caller sounded as if they had swallowed too many full of butt plugs, so I could be incorrect.  It is just what it sounded like to me.  If they are selling butt plugs, even special space butt plugs, I am good.. Another telemarketer called me with Butt Plugs made from 100% Organic Unicorn $h!t... sounds more awesome.

Some a***ole telemarketer from a credit card company.

They call up to 3 times a day, I can never reach anybody to take me off the list. I am on the do not call list and they still call.

This number called today (713-714-5829) and asked to speak with the business owner. I stated that the business owner does not work in this office and would he like to speak with his assistant.  He said No and hung up.  Very rotten business.  We are listed with the National Do Not Call Registry and they called anyway.  I have submitted this phone number to be blocked.

Some rude person from this number asked for the owner or comptroller.  I asked her how I could help her.  *silence* and then she hung up.

This is EXACTLY what just happened to me, 26MAR14, 1441 hours.

Call at work and ask for owner or another partner when I said the owner was out.  I asked what the company does and who was calling, but they refused to tell me and said they would call back.  Very rude. Annoying telemarketer.

ID shows as Encore and they call every other day. I keep asking to remove our name but they want only to speak to the owner. We have no business relationship with this company, how do we get them to stop.

I answered the phone on Friday morning when no one else was in home office.  Told them our business does not accept cc and, not thinking, confirmed my home address.  A woman showed up Monday afternoon unannounced.  A man called from 214-442-1700 while she was outside & told my wife I had expressed interest, no one answered door & wanted to "reschedule."  My wife knew better & told him so, but he was persistent & very rude, thus forcing her to hang up on him.

I get these calls several times a week and no one responds if and when I do answer it.

I'm getting the same issue with 713-714-5829.  After Googling this and finding this thread, I've blocked it as well. I'd like to see painful penalties for people who misuse the phone system like this.

I get a call daily from this company.  They are calling my cell phone.  She said her name was Crystal and that she was from Encore payments.  I told her I get at least one call per day from this phone number and that I have requested each time that my number be take off  their list.  I asked her how to to do this once and for all so I did not have to report her company to the FCC.  She said I should call the phone company and have them take my number off the business listing.  

They call our business very often and ask for the owner.  I ask what the call is in regards to and they hang up.  I ask if I can take a message and they hang up.  They don't even say goodbye.  Very rude and annoying.  

I got the call to go thru, but it just goes in a loop, "Thank you for calling Payment Systems....yada yada yada, press 1 for our marketing department"  I pressed 1 abt 10 times.  Nothing.  SO freakin annoying
