E if any of that applies to you then your name was on some mailing list like YOUR DR OR HOSPITAL  and it was sold to anyone with the $ .

this is a sex line. i have never called this # and don't know how they got my number. when i call back there is no option to stop further calls!

if what you say is tru than paetec just admitted to being complicit in a crime and they are liable for prosecution.  blocking their number is BS, they are the criminals here.

Inappropriate call from this number and illegal too.

i talked to paetec. they are remiving my number from there switch which will stop the calls unless the toll free owner moves the number to another carrier then we start all over again.

Got a call at bedtime, thank goodness my children did not answer. how do you stop them. Im calling paetec fraud dept.

I went to this website www.paetec.com and called this number - 877 340 2555. This company sells the 800 numbers and manages the accounts. The technician at this number was able to take my number off the list and also suggested calling my phone providers to have the number blocked. I just did this 5 minutes ago so we will see if it works. Good luck, this was one of the hardest things to try and explain to my wife..I think she has her doubts. Thanks a lot phone sex line, you just made me look like a perv!

got a call from 1 800 pro talk i did not pick up the phone but the answer machine picked it up and they left a wild message  i do not think it is approriate for kids in the house    how do i stop them

the owner of this toll free number is a www.paetec.com. I'd suggest calling one of the local offices to get off the list.

They must have been busy tonight.  I got the same call at home then about one minute later on my cell phone.  If anyone has any info on how to get them to stop, please post  it.

These people have called me about 3 times in an hour

I recieved a call at work (a hotel) on our 911 emergency only phone...Needless to say I was not amused.  This really is unacceptable, can we report to the BBB or anything?

My husband recieved the phone call while sitting on the couch.  I found it entertaining b/c of course 'he had no idea why they would be calling him' so I googled the number and this is the site i found.  We called it back and its some dirty talk hotline... that is really expensive in my opnion.  Sees to me a movie would be cheaper and you can always rewind....

Pro Talk. 1-800-PRO-TALK.  I had this problem last year with this same company.  Never called them to begin with.  I sent 4 emails to them and multi text messgaes.  Finally it stopped.  Now I can't locate the web site and I'm going through the same garbage.

Received a text with the following message:

how stupid. Doesn't even tell you what they are trying to advertise... so I looked it up online and came to this page. I haven't given my cell number to anyone that I know would sell it out. Let alone would they know I have txt msging.  And I don't think I want to even reply with stp. Its not even the word "stop" which is normal for legit businesses.
