This moron called at 9:00 pm in the evening trying to solicit funds for the "State Highway Patrol Holiday Don't Drink And Drive Fund"..... It's an obvious scam, one that the actual DPS repeatedly warns the public about.  This thief needs to get a life and needs to be shut down.

What website did you come up with? The TxDPS or the Highway Patrols? Those are legit sites.

Don't hold your breathe waiting for anyone to get arrested for telemarketing. They won't even do anything about harassing calls which are even worse.

I got a call from them on the 29th. The guy said he was with the State Hwy Patrol & not "Texas Hwy Patrol" to worry no one was hurt or anything like that. So then I knew it was a telemarketer collecting funds. So I told him I wasn't interested & he tried to tell me how it would be tax exempt & all.

For all you previous people who say they are Falsely Identifying themselves as being with the TX Hwy Patrol I just want to let you know they are not identifying themselves as being with them. But they could as long as any percent of the funds they collect go to that cause then they are indeed collecting for them on their behalf.

Plus Caller ID shows as Hwy Patrol Inc. They are not saying they are an actual Police Officer nor making it appear as though the call is coming from the Texas Hwy Patrol. They purposely talk fast so people don't hear or catch the similarity of what they are saying to what they are expecting to hear.

Phone call asking for donations for fallen police officers 'loss two in the recent past" and gave me their names.  I am on the "No not call" list, but I still receive these kinds of calls.  What's up with this??

I recieved a call from this number but they left no message.  I googled it and came up with a website that needs to be shut down and the offenders arrested, I have reported it and hope they are put in prison.

Called using false identity, started the sales pitch with a sensational headline hinting that a loved one was in danger. I hate Texas, at least Arkansas made slimy tactics like this illegal.

Called looking for someone who had our telephone number before us.  Told them they didn't have this number, said thank you and hung up.

Caller makes as though he represests TEX HWY PATROL.  Also uses another number (713-647-6354) along with the same misrepresentation.
