I keep recieving calls from this number and they won't say anything when I answer. Then whenever I call back it rings and then I get a message that says "You have reached the corporate office of SB&T, now exiting the system". I read on another site that MANY people are having the same problem. Please help!

I have been getting 1-3 calls PER DAY from this number for about 2 months. 3 just today at 3:09 pm, 3:24 pm, and 5:34 pm. Calls are usually late afternoon 2-6 pm. Never leaves a message. I have caught the calls twice, and they don't say anything, they just hang up after a few seconds. Today I got a text message from this number saying "Page from CB:349-596" Oct 15, 3:25 pm. Tried replying to text message to say stop contacting me; returned as landline with no text capabilities. Hope this helps you track down this nuisance. This is harrassment.

didnt realize it was a problem... just thought i missed a call from some random number but they didnt leave a message.  When i called back to see who it was, my phone said call rejected... so i was like ok... and googled the number.  come to find out, all these people have had this number call them before... i think when it was said that "Oh, you can pay $6 a month to block unwanted calls.....some unwanted calls, anyway. Maybe the calls are from asomeone trying to get us all to buy that call blocking thing!!" they could've had a good point... underlying government trying to make money? quite possibly

I have gotten several calls from this nunber. No one will say anything when I answer. I have called it back only to get a busy signal or a rejection message. If there is any way to find this caller and make them stop that would make life a little better for alot of people. Please help

I received a call at 2:48pm from 713-744-6456 from an unknown caller. The message that was left was regarding a patient from UTMB (University of Texas Medical Branch). They left a call back number that is traced to Houston, Texas. He left his name as Jason and gave an extension number. Ending the message he stated that the call was regarding a reference number.  As some of this information maybe legit, I will reframe from giving possible private information.

A person calling from this number left a very detailed message on my answering machine instructing me to call an Angleton-area number (unlisted, of course), dial an extension, and provide the reference number that he gave me. He said his name was Sandy Hill, Shill, or maybe Shell. It wasn't clear. The guy sounded very business-like, as though he had done this a thousand times. I thought it was a creditor, since they too give their names, but don't give a reason for calling or the name of their company. Which I think Sandy knows.

The caller ID said he was calling from (713) 744-6456, a number that many people here have said belongs to a pay phone at a Houston-area prison. This guy knew my name. My phone number isn't listed under my name. I'm very upset right now. The scam seems pretty elaborate. I'm afraid to call the number he gave me, but I really want to know how he got my name and number. I buy things online all the time. I'm now afraid that either my number has been sold, or that someone stole my information.

Ive been getting calls from this number for a while now and when i answer nobody says anything, but when i called it from a different phone a man answered and got very angry claiming he hasnt called a number with my area code in a long time. best advice is just to block the jerk.

I just scream at them now everytime they call me.  I'm actually having a little fun busting the jerks eardrums.  =)

Also, when I white pages this number it shows that it comes from "Hunter Creek Village" Area in Houston.

I've been getting this call for several days with the same result.  No one answers, no one leaves a message.  When I've received calls from county jail before, it's always been collect.  I'm just going to continue to ignore this number.

Well, I called AT&T to find out how to stop this AT&T number from calling us all the time, but aside from paying a reverse look-up service for the physical address of this offender (in order to show up and complain in person about the harrassment) they had no offers of assistance. How can they scam you? I just got it today it rang hung up rang again hung up. I have tried calling it back. What can happen????

Same problem that everyone has mentioned above. Now I'm worried...wonder if this aquires any charges to our phone bill?? What is the "scam" of it?

Yes I too keep getting called by this number , they dont say anything. So I will be reporting this issue to the Public Utility Commission at http://www.puc.state.tx.us/ and also Jeff Ehling and Wayne Dolcefino at ABC13.com (channel 13). We will see where this gets us.These jerks wanna play? Well guess what so do I ! I urge everyone else in houston getting these call to do the same

phone rang, no id other than unavailable.  i called back twice, busy the first time then nothing the second time.  i said "do not call back, they found the body and I am leaving town"  maybe they will call the police and i will know who they are.

7137446456 is a number that calls and is never at the other endof the line.  I call back and it does not go through fast busy or unable to connect. seems a waste of time. so I simply gave blocked calls.
I'm 73 so I have little tine for this mess.

I have gotten three calls this morning (within 20 minutes) from this number: 713-744-6456.  I have caller id, so I didn't answer it, but would love to know who it is.  Anybody know????
