Telemarketer. Escort services....Sounds like prostitution ring.

Got a call today on my cell phone, around evening time, and of course i didn't answer, cause its an obvious scam/telemarketer. This is the first time from this number but not the first time for random numbers called me. .. I never use to get random calls on my cell phone until I didn't pay for a hospital bill, which is weird. Don't know why that would cause any unknown callers call me but yeah.

But don't answer it is a telemarker because they left no vm like other unknown callers.

Got a call saying my vehicle warranty had expired.  I asked what vehicle? They gave me my vehicle info.  Was surprised when he said the warranty I had already purchased was expired.  Interesting since I didn't buy one to begin with.  Then he corrected himself and said the manufactures warranty.  Well that expired several years ago.  So what warranty are you looking at.  The one you have now sir.  I said what part of I don't have a warranty do you not get.  He stated screw you and hung up.  Funny!!  I love screwing with these idiots!! Do I really look that stupid?  Nope!!

Just received a call in regard to a vehicle I traded in back in 12/11.  After I told the lady that I no longer owned that vehicle she wanted to know what I am driving now.  I refused to answer that so she politely hung up.  She mentioned something about the  warranty on that vehicle having expired.  I'm sure that it is a scam.

don't merely rely on looking to not answer, use voip to filter to NOT-RING

Thank you! Just got a call from someone about my car.  First, the car's title and registration is in my husband's name, not mine.  Second, he called me Conni, which is not my real name.  It's my nick name and not used on anything official.

got a call woman claimed the coverage on my car was about to expire I asked her if she was from my insurance company she said no she was from a company that could help me get coverage on my car ...really appears to be a scam no direct answers from the caller very vague about the purpose of the call

Caller wanted to sell me an extended vehicle warranty.  Advised that we are on the Do Not Call list.  He hung up before hearing my request not to call again.

Yeah, I did the same thing and the guy said he would put me on the do not call list.  Hopefully it works.  They are using spoofed numbers, so it would take a lot of complaints for the FCC to investigate them and trace their true phone number.

Called and told me that they were calling from Vehicle Processing, came up as Service Caller on the ID and were calling about my car, which they knew the make, model & year of and asked if this is the vehicle that I drive.  I said that I'd rather not share that info and I hung up on the woman in mid sentence.

They called from 713 955-5632 and call themselves "Vehicle Processing Center". They knew make, model, and year of my vehicle and my name already, probably from DMV records. They told me that my vehicle warranty was expiring and I could get an extension from them. I told them they were wrong that I had already bought an extended warranty directly from the manufacturer and I had another two years left on it. They said ok and we hung up.

SCAM!  Hang up, block, do whatever you can. Google "Vehicle Processing Center" and you'll see the same scammers saying all sorts of crazy things to try to get your money.

This is just like the copier scam people ran in the 90's, and probably still do.  They try to sell you a bunch of toner, or warranty in this case, that you don't need.  So far I have read that they call on GM's, Honda's and I'm Ford.

This number is the same people/bot as 224-649-5624. Both called at exactly ten minute increments twice. Scammers, not a legitimate telemarketing company.

A few weeks ago, I got an official-looking card in the mail, asking me to fill in an online vehicle travel survey, which I did.  I gave my phone number at the end since I wanted to win the prize on offer.  Since then, I've received random calls, one of which was from this number.  I'm sure the two are related.  Moral of story:  don't go for any prizes!

Just got a call from them. I asked what company they were and they stated "Vehicle Processing Center". Theyalready had the make, model, and year of a car I own but is not currently insured (it is not currently in operational order). I hung up on them.

Do not give your account information without reading the contract. These are scam artists, not innocent hard workers. Any new suggestions to end this scam that is more effective than reporting them to ineffective government protection services is most suggested. Darain Atkinson is continuing his crime from prison. They don't deserve any humane consideration.

I got a call from this number, asking for me by name, and asking about my vehicle by make and model.  Supposedly they sell extended warranties.  ????

I just got a call from this number i called them back blocked my number and they hung up..i dont pay my cell phone bill to have telemarketers keep calling..and for the government no call program thats a scam to because all of my phones are listed on that list and i still get the calls..its a bunch of BS !! THEY WONDER WHY PEOPLE GO POSTAL!!

Something that often time works for me.  I redialed this number and they answered "Vehicle Processing Center"  I asked the young lady if she would be kind enough to put my number on their "do not call" list.  She said "sure I will".  and told me to "have a good day".  If I continue to receive calls I will post again.

In the meantime I suggest trying something similar.
Most of these people are paid $10-$12 an hour and aren't really hunting us down, but just doing a job.  If we give them the opportunity for closure, as I did, I have found it usually works. I believe they appreciate the small act of kindness.  I can only imagine what they hear over the course of one day.

These jerks are calling me from several numbers and they start as early as possible. STOP calling me.

I got a call from this number as well, on our landline. They were looking for my mom. I told them she's not here may i take a message, they said no message and hung up. I then called them back by *67 to block my number and they answered saying, processing center. I said what kind of processing center. They said Vehicle processing. Then I hung up.

Me too!  They need to stop.  Even when I answer, they hang up.
