Phone number came up on my cell phone as just 714-210

Same message, computerized voice, some bank that I don't bank with.  I pressed 1 and it prompted for a card.  I put in some bogus numbers and it was smart enough to figure out that it was not a valid card number.  I didn't have enough time to pull up a CC# generator, it hung up after 3 tries.

Received call on my cell phone from a bank that I do not bank with.  It said that my debit card had been temporarily deactivated and I needed to dial 1 to reactivate the card.  The recording stated I would be asked for 3 different pieces of information including my card number.  I hung up.

I got a call from this number and it was a recording that said my debit card had been DE Activated and it referred to a Bank I have never heard of before. It told me to press 1 to transfer to the security department.
Why does this fraudulent activity go on? I don't get it!!!!!

Automated call said my bank card had been temporarily deactivated and I needed to enter my account number to reactivate it. They used the correct bank name but the call came in on my cell phone and my bank does not use my cell phone number when checking on recent transactions but my home phone. I hung up and tried calling the number back but only got a recording to leave a message because the operator was unavailable.

Telemarketer
whoever called left an automated voicemail. All is said was to press 1 to be forwarded to the security department. No idea what this is for. Have been looking for a new car recently and been bombarded with telemarketing calls like this. I assume it has something to do with finding a car loan or something.
