Called me today and hung up when I answered.

Same people over and over... not enough work these days so they have to constantly annoy people who do not want or need their services. May karma deal them their just desserts!

If you would like the calls to stop try this, set a time for them to come over to your place or your neighbors whatever, when the person arrives start your own version of harassment don't show up, tell them your running late, if you do get some actual face time tell them you just lost your job ect... or just hand out a good old fashion opened palm smack. you need the name of the company for the Do Not Call Registry to take action, they use a computer program that puts a different tag on the actual number they use each time they call a number so they can keep up the relentless harassment!
The people they are targeting are the elderly and the disabled, these are very wily scam artists.

Got a call and  they hung up before I answered the phone. I called back and it went to voice mail.

this number has called my work place numberous times they -  I answer and identify our office and myself in our business greeting. Soon after they hang up.   I call back soon after - its goes straight to vm. Whoever they are they are calling from a cell phone.

Left no message, just hung up at 4:06PM. I'm glad I was at work.

This number calls everyday; sometimes twice a day. They never leave a message. I never pick up the phone unless I know who it is. I am surprised that they have not given up yet. They have been calling for months.

Just got a call from this number also.  I've learned long time ago: as long as I do not recognize the number or "Private caller", I DON'T pick up the phone!  It's the constant calling from the same numbers that really piss me off!!

Called asking if I needed construction or paint for my house.

Just got a call from this number, and the lady on the other end asked to speak to my mom or dad.... I quickly said: "Ma'am, you're calling an office". She apologized and hung up... If you're cold calling people, at least know who or where you're calling.

Some construction company wanting to know if they can come out to my home to give estimates on anything I might want to be done around my house. More annoying - I get these calls once or twice a week with the same story... "we are in the area and wondering if we can stop by and give you an estimate on any work?" Sometimes they let me request to be removed, sometimes they hang up on me. The caller ID keeps changing but the story remains the same. I don't know if it's the same organization, or if my name and number is being sold to all the construction companies in the area as a prospect. I am on the National Do Not Call Registry, and complained, but with the caller ID being different each time, I don't know if they will get enough complaints on any one number to investigate this.
