someone named "Thomas Vance" called my work looking for an old co-worker, saying that she was being sued and needed to contact him within a half hour or else he would get a warrant for her arrest. when i gave her the information and she contacted them, she was told she owed $5,000 and needed to pay or else she would be arrested. she has no debt and ended up googling the number to find the business was not real. The next day "Thomas" continued to harass my place of employment, saying we were interfering in legal affairs and would shut us down. then continued to say he worked for the District Attorney's office in Orange County in CA, (which my old co-worker has never been) and was working for  District Attorney named David Eng. We contacted Mr. Eng, and he has never heard of the man, and is very upset he is using his name. He said he is contacting the police.

Received a call from Adam at LCS Legal Services. The call was for a member of my family that does not live at residence called. Took the information and hung up. Tried to do an internet search on name of business given but came up with a company located in the UK. Called back and spoke with John Bryson, who was very curt, but we came to the conclusion that he had all the information he needed to contact the person he was trying to reach. About 5 minutes later he called back and stated that he could share a portion of the reason he was calling and because I was also involved he could tell me. He then proceeded to threaten to put a lien on my family home if the matter was not taken care of. When I did a reverse look up of the number I ran across this message board...the morel if a company calls and their number is "Blocked Caller" on your caller ID, be very suspicious.

Someone called a family in Colorado, from this number asking for someone that is not known to the family. The family told him to stop calling their number, but he continued calling. He was being a jerk towards the family. Someone needs to send this number to the attorney general.

"Alex" left a message on a family member's phone, stating that he was from the "Mitigation Dept." of ACMG, & that there was a file attached to a complaint, & that he had questions about property located in the city which is listed with my account. He mentioned a street name which didn't even sound familiar, so I'm not sure what their game is. I had no idea what this was about & had trouble finding out, but from other notes on this website about ACMG, I can only guess that they're some kind of underhanded type of bill collector (?)
