11/19 12:53 PST Have blocked this number after a number of calls.  Have never answered and don't know why calling, but since only reads wireless caller and doesn't leave message, who the heck cares.  Blocking means it only rings once and I can live with that.

My cell is called by this number once for 2 days And nobody answer. I  call back nobody answer either.

Call from a contractor selling cabinet remodeling "near where your are" ( a little funny as I've moved 100 miles from 714 land and took my number with me by porting to VOIP).

The call started with the telltale marks of a predictive dialer call; silence followed by a snip of hold music. Then picked up by a guy who sounded like he was on a cellphone or low-bandwidth VOIP, who went into his cabinet remodeling spiel.


OT RANT:
For all the folks ranting and raving about how the DNC list "doesn't work" and is "useless"; why don't you try removing your number from it, and then tell us about the result after the 31 day marketer update deadline? I guess homicide laws are "useless" because there are people who still commit murder. There isn't once single law on the books that *guarantees* the crime it specifies will never be committed. Not one. Who told you there was?
The DNC list is there so that there is a basis to prosecute those who ignore it. There have been many prosecutions against violators of the DNC list and there are more to come. I'll be reporting this contractor guy. Maybe he will get prosecuted, maybe not. There are a lot of rats out there who need stomping on, and only so many will get what they deserve. That's how EVERY type of law enforcement works in the real world... get used to it.
Seriously ranters, call 1-888-382-1222 from your phone to remove your number from the DNC list. By 31 days later, all telemarketers who *do* obey the law will have updated their call lists, and won't you have fun?

Received call from 714-272-2694. When I answered all I got was loud music.  I told them where they
could go and hung up.

I answer the call and the line went dead. I called the cell number and I get and out going message " You need to provide your code number" What the heck!!!!! Who are these people? They call once a day everyday as late as 10pm.

I received a call today from this #. Says cell phone with area 714 area code. I answered and they was a dead line.

Lots and lots of calls from this number 714-272-2994.  id "Wireless caller," none, or just the number.  They never leave phone mail.
I figure they are not worth any time.  Even the time for this post is a waste.  

10?16 15:48  I don't know what it is but being inundated right now by unidentified phone #'s.  5 in the last 5 minutes.  No message, just dead air.

Prank call

It is apparent the blocker you have is incapable of knowing good from bad, caveat emptor.  I make no money on the one I posted, even started designing one after the GOV offered 50K to prevent ROBO and calls their inferior DNC does not work, look it up. Guess the technology they chose.. the one I posted.

It is also well known if you chose to keep and clear the number, you can with a push of a button that says ALLOW, opposite of DENY, well unless one is too technically challenged, only you know your skill-set.

Zero sum game for me, enjoy your choice.

CALLED US a few months ago and they are back again as "WIRELESS CALLER".

Got a call from this # today, CID said "Wireless Caller"...I did not answer, and no message left.  We live in Long Beach (562), and I don't have too many "friends" in OC calling my house # on their cell, so, I didn't answer it.  No message was left.

10/07 15:51 ID reads wireless caller and voicemail engaged but no message left, just dead air.  Have call blocker but only block after several calls from same number with no ID and/or message.  Sometimes just a slip of the fingers (wrong #) and why waste a perfectly good block on an accident?

For all that reads this, purchase a Digitone, number came in, rang 1X does not resolve back to display call dropped.  100% effective, 100% of the time, no cloud spoof, VOIP, blank number, unknown caller.. all get 1 ring on their end and dropped.  

Best $ that we ever spent... look it up or deal with crap like this... Even block legit telemarketers with a preloaded DB..... AHHHHHHH!

Scam deal. First you get a call from la area code, when you don't pick up, they change numbers to 714 and it states ca cell... I have the worthless DNC list...
I'm faced with changing the number I have had for over 20 years to get these calls to stop..

9/17 16:59 Blank ID and no message.

The phone screen displayed CELL PHONE CA and this number. I let it go to answer and no message was left. Since this call followed an energy scam call from a nearby area code by only a few minutes, I suspect it is related.

Now blocked through *60.
