I missed a call from this number. Who are these ppl?

i recieved this call as well, i dont think anyone hiring low end management will be doing a lot of searching in this job market, so i will making mine unsearchable, these calls like this happen too much and spam email

I got a on my cell today from Genilys Chang while at the store (her cell 714 399-1809) regarding my resume and for me to call her at 626 224-5583 to set up a job interview. She left no name of the company or position. This sounds like a scam. Anyone calling about possible position would provide more details, watch out. Why would she call from one number and give me another to call back?

I just received a voicemail with this phone number.  I know have my resume up on three job sites.  I wanted to check the Internet.  The message was, "Hi this is David R [something] and this is in regards to [my name]'s resume for an interview.  Please call back at 562-277-3236."  Now why would someone call from a different number 714 and then leave a different area code #? 562 .  No company name, no location of which site they saw my resume...

Same here.  I got a call from a Linda today and it looks like they're still doing that.  Her message was, "Hi, my name is Linda.  Please call me back at 714-399-1806."...didn't mention her company name. Definitely a scam!  

Also, beware of those jobs that you required to "recruit" people you know to build a pyramid below you and try to coax innocent victims to buy insurance or force them to go through Loan Modification while someone else (the person on top of the pyramid or a.k.a. 'District Manager' or D.M.) makes big $$$ off of your efforts and you never make money while doing that...you will when YOU become a D.M. yourself.  Example:  Infinity Financial Alliance aka "I.F.A." I've been a victim before (up to their "training" process) because a relative talked me into it, but I ain't falling for it again!  

I also see Farmers Insurance, Prudential, and other insurance and banks' emails after I have posted my resume on careerbuilder and Yahoo Hotjobs.  They use words like, "be your own boss", "business opportunity", "career opportunity", "agent", "life insurance", and so forth. That's what happens when you post your info online.  Better make your info private or at least delete your name and phone number and have them contact you by email so you can monitor who you will be calling back.

I just posted my resume on careerbuilder yesterday and I also recieved a call from 1-714-399-1809. The person left a message with no company information and her name is Linda with no last name.

Thank you.  I was about to call them back, but her message did not say where she's calling from so something told me to come to the Internet to find answers and I am glad I did.  Losing a job is one thing, but having to handle these telemarketers is the last thing I need.  Thank you again.

Yep, got that call too. I have a resume posted so its out there for all the world to see. One thing I have learned is that when you get a call concerning a job and they leave a message about your resume and they DO NOT leave the name of the actual company, its a scam, and this Neil character (not his real name) is a scammer.

I missed a phonecall with this callerID but the voice message is from Neil Chen and asked me call back to (626)322-4398 in regards of my resume without specifying his comapny name. Please search that 626 number for more discussion there.
