OMG!!!! i thought i was mistaken. They called me on my cell as well as a work number and left the same threating message.. indicating this is a warning message for LaToya Walker THIS CALL IS FOR YOU.  DO NOT DISREGARD THIS CALL. it is very time sensative YOU MUST CALL THIS NUMBER BACK - IF YOU DON'T I CAN ONLY "WISH YOU GOOD LUCK" as this whole thing crumbles down on you.  LaTOya I CAN ONLY SAY THAT EVENTS WILL OVERTAKE YOU AND YOU WILL BE SORRY.  LaToya eITHER YOU OR YOUR ATTORNEY CALL ME OR I CAN ONLY SAY "I WISH YOU AND "YOUR KIDS" GOOD LUCK!" so i called the number back and they indicated that they were a law firm called criminal division monitoring. and that i had 3 criminal charges against me they read off some checking account number and back name that i am not familiar with when i advised them that they had the incorrect information they told me not to worry about it. the number that appeared on my caller id was 9419618518 (aka caller id spoofing) but i received a verizon wireless error message... so i called the 7144090250 number and asked for the "natisha white" that left the distrubing messaging and gave her a peice of my mind. this sooooo cannot be legal to call someone at the place of business or personal phone leaving these types of messages... i am sooo upset and disturbed by this

Recieved the same information to get a loan of $6000 I was the unlucky one that sent them two money orders tottaling $1300 up to New York to some courier by the last name of Pringle.  Every time I called them, it would either be busy or it would go right to voicemail.  When I did get through, they mentioned that it was sent out or would and I never recieved it and this has been since the fall.  Sometimes the receptionist would put me to this guy with this carribean accent that says it was sent out, it's water under the bridge.  I've been getting calls recently that the voice is very similar that is doing another scam, saying that they are a lawfirm for Payday National and reading off a script that I also looked up.  The phone number that they are calling from is 201-234-4071.  If this has happened to others, why can't we prosecute.  They're obviously not american.  We need to contact homeland security.  We need to send them back to their country. Does anyone know how to go after these people

I received a call from an woman named Jessica who sounded like she was India decent as well as her "manager" named Christopher Alexander. She first came on the line and advised me that I was being sued for a payday loan I got for 300.00 back in May of 2008. I disputed...of course. Then I was put on the line with Christopher Aleander (fake name for sure), he was very rude telling me in in big trouble and someone will be arriving at my office or my home to take me a way to court and/or serve me papers. He attitude and tone was threating and on my defense I cursed him out. He yelled more asking me not to use profanity, and proceded to tell me that he's trying to help me and to have my attorney call him that day. I hung up and called back later to get more info, he then told me my birthday, my address, some of my friends names, my work and home numbers and my work address. He said that his company has come to my office before to pick up people and the WILL come for me. I hung up on him again and called my attorney who advised me that it was total crap and a major scam. This made me want to find out more about the company in order to report them. After calling the number back once more, I was told the name of the company was CRIME MONITORING DIVISION, the name of the company that I got my "supposed" loan from was NATIONAL PAYDAY LOAN,and I had the option to go to court tomorrow and end up going to jail or paying $5,457 including intress and court fees, or I could settel with the creditors for 600.00 today.

This was a total mess, if scared me, and it angered me. Now my main concern is to report them on as many sites as possible so others are not scammed into this. I am also very concerned as to how these people have ALOT of my personal information and can call me and use my info against me.

My husband keeps getting the same exact calls. Is there any way to stop this. At first I was getting worried. I kept trying to call them back and either no answer, I couldn't understand or I was hung up on. I don't know about anyone else but I am going to keep a close eye on my telephone bill. You always hear about people getting your number and running up the bill. Good luck to all and I hope someone figures out how to end these disturbing calls!

I received a call from them as well with the same crap of if you do not call back yadda yadda yadda.... Funny thing is I work for a law firm so when I asked for the case number they began to get very defensive. They gave me some bogus number. When I ask for the county and court that the case was in all they could say was don't worry about it and that they would send an investigation officer to my work or mailing address and they would give me the info that I need. What a bunch of junk. Don't fall for it people it is a scam.

We have also been getting these very same calls from a woman named sara. We took the voicemail to the police and also to our attorney. Avoid these people, do not take their calls or call them back. Their is no bill collector anywhere that will resort to these tactics and to go so far as to say your family will also be behind bars...We are still at this time getting these calls and are in process of reporting to attorney general, ftc, and homeland security..

Same problem
Gave following names (which I am sure are fake)
Brad Williams
When I questioned him about what it was about he read me some info about a complaint has been brough against me about some debt.
The phone kept going in and out and I couldnt here anything but a few words.
He "transferred" me to his "supervisor" Paul Smith.
Paul Smith claimed he was an attorney living in California.
Then the phone cut off.
I told them they needed to stop calling me at work because it was a business (like that will work, but it's worth a try).
They gave me 714-409-0250 to return their call.

I have been getting calls from debt collectors and I assumeD this was also debt collector, although this was not said outright - which I thought debt collectors were always supposed to say "this call is intended to collect on a debt", anyway this one went over the top! A woman, with an extremely heavy accent (I could hardly understand her) left a voice mail that went something like this: DEBORAH Exxxxxx - THIS CALL IS FOR YOU.  DO NOT DISREGARD THIS CALL. YOU MUST CALL THIS NUMBER BACK - IF YOU DON'T I CAN ONLY "WISH YOU GOOD LUCK".  DEBORAH...I CAN ONLY SAY THAT EVENTS WILL OVERTAKE YOU AND YOU WILL BE SORRY.  DEBORAH...EITHER YOU OR YOUR ATTORNEY CALL ME OR DEBORAH I CAN ONLY SAY "I WISH YOU AND "YOUR KIDS" GOOD LUCK!" How creepy is that?  Is this supposed to be some kind of physical threat to my kids? The oddest thing is that my caller ID showed a local number 256-665-9205, but she left the 714-409-0250 as a call back number.  Is this some kind of new trick - use a local number to trick you into answering.  I make it a policy - if the person can't identify themselves via caller ID - I NEVER, EVER ANSWER!

I am also so very sorry about what you went through.  I'm a mom of five kids myself.  My daughter jsut attended her prom too.  These people cannot ruin our lives and stress us out even more.  Especially in this economy.  Money is very hard to come by and if one does not have a job, it's worst.  Report them to the Federal Trade Commission and the state's Attorney General's office and especially to Homeland Security.  These people are Terrorists!  I received two calls in the past week from these heavy accented individuals o the same kind of thing.  They are definitely South Asian.  No disrespect or discrimmination to them - I myself, am of full Asian heritage too.  When you get your next unidentifiable call and you have caller ID, don't answer - even if it's local.  Use the internet and Google the number before you call back.  Take care.

My husband was just contacted by a middle eastern man with a very thick accent. He was claiming that we owed them money from a pay day advance from May of last year! The company name was National Payday, and the man's name was supposedly Don Carson. From the beginning of the call until the end the man threatened us saying that we would be arrested unless we paid them the $300 that we supposedly took. He claimed that their lawyer has spoken to us and that they have emailed us 16 times. He said, since we have not paid them then "God help us and our family!
He wanted our lawyer information and kept digging for more information from my husband. The man had my husbands last four digits of his social security number, last four digits of our checking account number and knew my name and my sister-in-law's name. My husband asked the man what their lawyer's name was and they just beat around the bush. Finally he gave us the name Paul Macamera (spelling?), with the phone number (714) 409-0228. The phone number calling us originally was from (714) 409-0250. These numbers must be originating from the same account and building.
My husband and I have taken a few payday advances over the past few months to get by. However, we have record of paying them back. We can only assume that this is how they got our information to begin with. Right from the start red flags were popping up. We refused to tell them anything or give them any money. The more my husband refused the more angry the man got.

I just had this happen to me today. If was a woman who initially called my phone and left a message. I ignored it at first as I thought it was some crackpot. But, when I got to my office today and there was a message on my WORK phone I returned the call. An Indian sounding man answered the phone, it sounded like a call center; lots of noise in the background.

The scary thing was he had my bank account number! He told me I had taken out a payday loan and didn't pay it back; that it was deposited into my bank account number ****** and that if I didn't give him my attorneys information that I would incur legal fees of $5,000. I have no idea who this person was, or how he got my bank information so I closed my account at the bank.

I told him that I thought this was a scam and when I found out who he was there would be more than a $5K legal fee for them to pay. At which point he hung up.

I would like more information as well. They had way too much personal information. I am located in MN

I called the number back and they stated that my husband and the entire family were going to jail. I told him good and when the police get there they were going to have reason to arrest me and when I finish there get ready to meet me in hell!! Would not give me any information as far as name of company or anything of that nature, but wanted me to spill my guts.

Too late for me.  I wish that I had found this site befor they reached me.  I was very distracted at work on wednesday when they called my job and caught me off guard.  I am usually a very cautious person but when the caller Allen Smith ststed all of my information including the names of my family members I fell for the scam and did a foolish thing.  I did not give them my bank information, however I did give them a prepaid walmart card number.  I told the so called allen smith that I did not have a payday loan nor did I sign for one he insisted that to keep my or my family members from being arrested, I would need to pay 500.00 that day and remit the balance in a week.  I did load the money on the prepaid card for something else and before I left the counter my money was gone.  I researched the merchants thru the help of Walmart and found that they had filtered my money through other vendor names to collect.  The swindlers made it look as though I had made several charges in a matter of ten minutes that took my entire deposit.  I contacted the FBI and went to place a formal complaint on the next day.  I was so stupid and now my daughter is without a prom dress for May 8.  Iwish that I had known.

I just got a call from a David Johnson he left me a message as well and said that if I didnt call back I would be sorry he wished me luck. So I called the number back and he told me that two police officers would be at my house the next day at 11:00 to pick me up and arrest me I needed 5,000 to hand over to the judge and I better have someone there to bail me out when I started to ask them question he hung up on me. I then call my local police department and informed them of the call he told me that there is no way they would come and arrest me and assured me I was fine. He took there info I will now get ahold of BBB
