Ive been recieving calls periodically from the same name kevin foster he has not mentioned any law firm the only thing he has told me is i jeed to send money to some random name in georgia i dont understand whats going on i dont kniw if this is real or if its a scam the number he gives me a 646 number can anyone help?

First of all , I'd like to introduce myself as a Hacker with a lot of talent and time on my hands.

My Mother was victimized by one of these scammers once, that?s when I decided to put my excess time and talent to reducing the proliferation of these scams and their perpetrators.

If you received a call from these guys then rest assured they already have your information.
The aren't  trying to steal your identity they already have it.

How did they get your name and number ?

You filled out an online form for either a pay-day loan , a mortgage, or a car loan.
These scammers operate like a normal business. They may have even paid a legitimate company to provide the leads (your information).

If the information grabbing site was set up by one of these scammers then they will get first crack at the chance to steal your money, so usually if you don't stop them in their tracks the first time, they will continue to sell your information to other scammers.

How to get your name off their list ?

Let them know you know who they are, and keep in mind that we realize that the scammers themselves frequent these boards, so I only provide generalized information, but it should be enough to get your name off their list.

The Master Mind whom shall remain unnamed is based out of New Jersey, and he has a very impressive front company that has office both here in the US and in  Noida UP, India. Also he had a really really really nice Mercedes convertible.

They use the aliases :

Justin Floyd, Justin Crowe,  Justin Curl,  Kevin Foster,  David Parker, and Samantha

None of these names are their real names of course and all of the people calling you are located in India.

The name of the guy that runs that office and the guy that eventually you get transferred to is Mobeen Khan.

According to his phone records he makes a lot of calls to Bareilly, so he either lives there or he goes to school there , or both.

Please fight the urge to Google him there are thousands of Mobeen Khans in this world, and it wasn?t easy finding the right one in a country of a billion people.

He actually comes from a descent middle-class family, except for one of his brothers. Lets not drag them into this just yet.

If you received a call from them , call them and ask for them by their real names, so they feel the same anxiety you felt when they called you. Feel free to threaten to call them back daily if they don?t remove your name from their database.

Remember these guys are in India neither US laws nor Indian laws apply to you. So if you were to call them every 5 minutes for their entire shift or if you were to threaten them in any way , you will not get prosecuted.

BTW their shift runs between 9am ~ 8pm EST

If you have call forwarding, forward the number  to the FBI or FCC.  I have a bunch of these idiots blocked although there is one number that manages to get through but I do not answer it.  Also, get a small air horn or a whistle and use it when you get them talking.  If they can't hear, it would be very hard to talk on the phone.

i got a call from 607-723-8401 and i talked to a david parker who gave me the same run around with limited info. i asked to speak to someone who spoke better english and transferred me to a kevin foster, he couldnt even pronounce his own name correctly. the wanted info but refused to give any in return. so i hung up. Its all a scam. if anything they are illegally piggy backing off a legit debt collector. Something has to be done but all angle lead to a dead end. Even the numbers they are calling from a registered to actuall people but the found a way to get around it..

I got a call at work from theses people saying they were a law frim... They said I was going too be sued cause I took out a payday loan.. And when it was time for the loan too be paid back the money wasn't in my account... How Did they get my S.S. number is what I won't know... How many other people has this happend too... They also said that I was going too be sued for FRAUD or something like that... They wanted me too pay them over 6, thousand dollars.. Well here the thing I did apply for a payday loan.. The thing is the money was never put in me account cause I didn't sign the papers... Please can someone help me with these call... I need them too stop... I work my a** off for the money I make don't need someone trying too steal what I have left...  Frist is was a lady, then I called back and it was a man... Never gave the name of the place... He told me he had proof the money was in my account... I said really well iam looking at my account now... I asked him whwen he said the money was there... He got mad and stopped talk so I hung up on him.. Only too have them call me 5 more times that night.. This has been going on for a week now... They really need too stop...

I received two calls, but the number they gave me was 92 instead of 93.  Very similar situation, when I spoke to the gentleman, I told him I Google the telephone number and knew it was a scam, he told me to F**k off and Hung up, so far no more calls.  Sad they resort that low to scam people.

I too have been receiving phone calls from India sounding people with American names.  They threatened to send the police to my home tomorrow morning as well.  I nicely told them that I do not have a problem setting up payment arrangements (LIE) however before doing so I'd like to call my bank and give them their information so that they could do some research before I gave out my personal financial information.  "Cliff Gray" stated it was not a problem but I needed to call him back in a half hour.  I called him back in 20 mins and told them that my branch manager at my bank told me to ask for a statement to be sent in the mail showing who and what I owe before setting up a payment of any kind. haha He got so upset and said if you do not trust me I will send a officer to your house to arrest you tomorrow morning and I will see you at the court house tomorrow morning.  I said sir why are you so upset, in this economy you would be careful as to who you give your money to as well wouldn't you, he said bye bye i will see you at court house tomorrow, we have paperless system and can not send any bill on paper, payday loan does not do paper. lol what a joke...when you back them up against the wall the willow away surely...will let you know if an officer comes to get me tomorrow or if the calls continue.  today i had a total of 7 calls from them in 4 hours.

I've been recieving calls/msges. The first time I recieved these calls, I answered and it was a man who said the samething about having my attorney contact him or me and my references will be arrested and that I would lose my job. After that i've just been ignoring it for the past month(june 2011). Now its July 2011 and I just received another call today(July 6,2011) from the #714-441-8693 and the was a man who said his name was John something. Most of what he said I could barely understand, but he did state that he was an officer from the Baker and Mckenzie Lawfirm and that I shouldnt ignore this call and sum other crap. After reading everyones comment, I feel alot better cause now I know im not the only one going thru so I definitely know its a SCAM!!! Thanx everyone!! Im just mad at the fact that they know my name, my SSN#, and probably my address. Oh, and when these calls come in, my phone shows where the calls come from. So, would that be a lie as well? Cause' whoever is calling me from the 714 441 8693 # it says its sumwhere in California..so I dont know...

If you have applied for a loan on line thats how they get your last ssn and all information. These laon people on line say that your information is secrete but its not the DO sell your information to people like this. Dont take out any loans on line and keep track of what sites you go on and put your ssn on. People not is hidden about you anymore for a dollar these compaines will sell your mother if they could.

Just recieved like call from Kevin Foster David & Harrison Legal Services and I took a message and they requested a phone call back at 714-441-8693. I keep  getting these periodically and eventually they go away but I have been told repeatedly it is a scam or you would get osmehting in writing when requested. So request it or start calling htem back with same issue thye call you with. And Cash America states this is a scam as well.

these people need to be stopped. they are telling me i got an online cash advance sometime within the last 3 yrs and now will owe $5480. he got mad when i asked for an origination date and his address. have a nice day and he hung up.

I had an Filipino woman say I was being sued and some lawfirm from the number 1-714-441-8693. They had my full name and after I told them I was with the FBI they called two more times.  It is  scam and they are outside of the country. I cannot do any action against them.

WOW another call lol. This time not only were they taking me to jail but everyone around. I turned it around on them. I called back from a differnet phone and told them I was a Federal Agent and assigned to a case with felony charges against them and need all their contact info. They of course keep hanging up on me. LOL

I got this same phone call stating there was a legal suite filed against me in my state.  To pay $575 with a debit or credit card when I told them I do not have a debit or credit card, told me must pay the $575 I said, ha I have many medical bills so the least amount you will get from me is $10 a month he refused payment of $10 a month, I went on to tell him the phone call was recorded as I called them from my work phone and that I would use it in a court of law.   He finally hung up on me, I called him back he started yelling at me I asked for a manager a guy by the name of Justin Curl gave me his # 530-287-4270 no one answers when I call it.  Next thing I did was looked up the phone # 714-441-8693 and called it and asked for their address they gave me a bogus address of 114 Off mane Lane, Campbell City, CA 98050 there is no address listed on google for this place of business.  I had my co-worker call and get the name of their business they told her a different law firm name than what I was told.  This is a SCAM obviously! Someone needs to dig deep into this one! I don't know where to go from here except get a different phone # They had my name first and last which bothers me quite a bit!!!

Who is Officer Mike, this person called my employer this person also has a deep India accent.  I ask his location and he refuse to tell me that but he need me to tell him my personnel information.

this guy with a very bad accent- india- says his name is jimmie johnson, said the cops were going to be at my work tommorrow. I was going to jail for fraud. The bad thing about it is he is calling me at work and it gets me so mad that I  start cussing at him and I work in an office and other people can hear me. Is there anything I can do about this guy? It has been going on for months.

Just got the same call saying the same exact things, it is very scary to a point that your nerves are shattered.  I told them to send me a statement and if I in fact owe you money I will send it by mail.  They refused and continued to harrass me.  Is there anyway someone can track this numbers they use and some them from harrassing people.  By law not even a debt collector is allowed to harrass you.

Some how these people know you and your family. They called from 666-211-3416 and 714-441-8693. I plan on looking into this further. They call and say they are going to take you and your spouse to jail for unpaid loans. This is crazy and should be illegal. I hope to find the source and press charges, but like someone said earlier they are probably in INDIA and there is NOTHING WE CAN DO! Sad, what has our world come to!

Just got a call at work stating I had court a few minutes ago. Of course I don't. The number is fake along with all there b***s***. Please don't fall for their scams! So many scams around. These people need to get real jobs.

Ray McKenzie. A supposed attorney who is going to fine me $10,000 if he doesn't get my address, notify the state police that I am a dangerous criminal on the run, hunt me down if I run away, arrest me at work, arrest my family and boss, and give me "life for prison." Woah...this guy should write a novel, I had no idea attorneys were so ambitious. What a crap load of BS.

This is a scam.  Do not tell them anything.  I have reported them to the State Attorney General, FTC and filled out a form on the FBI website.  Harassment!  They are annoying, but that is all they can do.  If there were any legal information you would have received it in writing through the mail.

I got this same call yesturday, first I got a voice message then I called back some guy name Jack Logan and he can hardly speak english. He told me this same mess that I did a loan for 535 and didnt pay it back and they would come to my home and job. I cursed him out and hung up in his face.

they are not in california. they are in india using cell phones bought in the us. Ignore the calls and they will go away.
