I got a call from this number but on my caller Idea it shows up as some education match thing...they call a million times a day on like 12 different numbers.

Answered and it was a recording.  Claimed he was David Latour from Toronto representing some kind of processing... at this point I hung up!

Wish they would go away!  I totally disagree with the person that said to call back to be removed from their lists.  Instead keep a diary and call the authorities.  This is plain and simple harasment!

got a call  am  pm everyday .no message eveytime i answer no one .need help .

I have the "disconnected number" tone saved on my computer and my cell phone, so that the next time I see them on the caller ID I can play the tone. Supposedly it will make automated systems comupters automatically remove you. If it looks like it works I'll let you know.

Just hung up on them for the 10th time this month... This is maybe the 30th call in this period.
I tried to opt out but it did not help. Submitted a complaint to BOA

got call 2 to 3 times a day  10am  2pm  and 8pm my phone is registered no state no call list it is worthless

seems legit though. just boa spamming for new features. i called in and another rep picked up the phone and redirected me how to opt out of phone calls via the website.

i got a call from this number saying she was "Amanda Collamore (sp?, 'call her more'?)" saying it was concerning privacy source. i asked for confirmation and asked how i could be sure she wasn't trying to scam and that i wanted it in writing. she said she needed to confirm address and such before sending it. sounds suspect. she said that she understands and that i could call 1.888.665.9900 and ask for "privacy source" and that she'd call back tuesday.

The B Of A call is a scam. B of a des not sell insurance of any kind!!

They have called here a few times, and when I answer they say something that is not in English so I just hang up.  Today after their foreign language lesson I told them they had the wrong number and they apologized (in English) and hung up.  Will be interesting to see if they call back.  If they do I will contact Bank of America directly about it.

Don't wait for them to read your post, Google the address for the CEO of B.of A. and write him telling him or her how annoying it is.  I promise they will not ever call you again, and possibly not call any more B.of A. customers.

I got the same call from this number two days in a row only today I answered it.   The man asked me how my day was going and that he was calling with an offer from the Bank of America.   I informed him that I did not request anything he was selling and promptly hung up on him.  I am on the State and National do not call list but they are worthless.

I keep getting the same call from same number, If they were legit they would leave a message so we can reach back to them but they just want to trick us in giving out our information to them ourselves.

The phone ID says Yorba Linda. They call me once a day but I screen the call and don't pick up the phone. I'm on a national do-not-call list, but a lot of good that does.

I just called this number back and pressed the number to be put on the do not call list and it says thank you please hold for the next representative! Damn!!! They have called from other numbers before and I have requested them not to call anymore and they still call just from another number!!!

If I was interested in additional products or services from any company, I will look into it on my own.
Don't these people realize this is so damn annoying?
I hope Bank of America reads these posts and discontinues this practice.

I just got a call from this number,714-463-2947, and my caller ID said it was from YORBA LINDA CA. I googled the number and got this site. I called the number back, and the answer I got was a recording saying "thank you for calling Bank of America", there is some sort of new product they were calling to tell me about...I do bank with that bank, and the recording did sound exactly like the one I get when I call my customer service number. After the recording gave its shpill, it then gave me the opportunity to be put on a "DO NOT CALL" list so that they wouldnt call me with offers anymore. I will say that having worked telemarketing before, if you do not go through the process of being taken off a call list, or put on a do not call list, you will be called again. In this case, all I had to do to be put on the do not call list was push the number to when prompted. worth calling back and doing.

Just got a call , they said they were from Bank of America . and tried to sell me a "free 30 day trial" of supplemental health insurance. I promptly refused.
