Don't answer and don't EVER push ANY number or talk to one of the flunkies who hang up on you.  All it does is confirm you are a real phone number and you will keep getting calls FOREVER.  There is technology to spoof caller ID so they just keep changing phone numbers making it hard for law enforcement to catch them.  If the company was legitimate they would follow the do not call list.  So guess what they are not legitimate.  When was the last time you got a call from a company like the local newspaper, bottled water company or other real company if you are on the do not call list.  DNC list does work, but law breakers will continue to flaunt it because they are usually not in this country and they are out to take your money, credit card number and anything else they can get out of you.

Our household policy is to NEVER give any personal information to anyone even if it is a company we do business with.  We call them back since it is so easy for a scammer to spoof the caller ID of your insurance company, doctor or anyone else.

Same BS robo call. Says it's here in San Francisco. They hang up, I have already informed them I have hardwood throughout my home. CLEARLY THERE IS A LOOPHOLE IN THE DO NOT CALL LIST REGISTRY as It does apply to local area code calling. Until a new law is enacted is is perfectly legal. ALL THESE INTERRUPTIONS ARE PUTTING A LOOPHOLE IN MY BRAIN. They are worse then collection agencies in my opinion.  

They called my home phone twice this morning. I do not know who they are, or why they are calling. I picked up the phone and hung it right up. I do not know how they got my number.

they call my cell all day and when i hit the reject button they call right back! they never leave a message and seem to call every 2 hours.

They have called my cell phone twice today - claiming to want to help get rid of Payday loans.  It is never a human voice, but a computer generated message.  

I got a call from this number today, it was a automated message about payday loans

They called, leaving no message. Unknown callers have one chance to leave a message. After that, I block the number using Digitone. Now I won't even hear it ring. Theyll never reach me. Bottom-feeders who can't make a living except by being stupid (thievery; robbery).

Caller who violates DNC list and robocall prohibition is not a reputable company. Likely want your credit information for identity theft. Do not do business with them. Pressing to be removed will not get you anything, nor will arguing with the virtually unemployable used as operators.

These people leave recorded messages for me when I'm not home. Something about a cleaning company but it is definitely some scam trying to see if someone is home

A the end of each day, I find this phone number on my caller id. I just called the number and there is a female voice saying "if you are not interested in calls in the future and wish to be placed on the do not call list, please press 1."  The same message is related after pressing 1.  I am on the Do Not Call registry.  I'd like to know who these pests are.

Why can't we just report them to the phone company and have their phone privileges CANCELED?

Their computers call every day it seems. Probably has nothing to do with "carpet cleaning", maybe more like if you're not home to answer the phone, they'll come over and clean out your house.

I've reported them to the National Do Not Call Registry, but to no avail.

I keep getting a calls from this number with a recorded message asking if i want my carpets cleaned.  must have heard from them 7 times.

These people call me often.  I am on the Do Not Call List.  I am annoyed, to say the least.

Caller id said "San Francisco" and I quickly Googled the number and found 800Notes at the top of the list.  I did not answer and there was no message left.

And yes, you can get a call blocking device or phone. Call blocking devices hold more numbers then phones do.
