I saw my add in app Security Guarder for my Verizon Droid blocked the number 714-510-1288.  Now that I see what you are saying about this number I am glad it did that automatically.  I always block SMS messages (thru my cell company) ever since an ex "friend" tried to spam me with 6 different premium message services after an argument we had.  It's too easy to do since all someone has to do is enter your cell phone number in one of those horrible premium service ads.  The app Security Guarder will allow you to block more numbers than Verizon.  It is a GREAT free app.

I was texted the same message, too, and am also registered with the National Do Not Call Registry. I filed an online complaint against 714-510-1288 with the FCC and quoted the text message verbatim.

I received two SMS from 714-510-1288 offering loans. Definitely a spammer. I'm afraid to reply with "NO" to them because this could turn in my worst SMS nightmare... I called Verizon a year ago about similar situation and they had no way of blocking the message sender. Not sure what to do.. Any suggestions, ideas?

I've been getting them too. Maybe from a listing I posted on Craigslist?

This number sent me spam txt about loans, although I'm on the do not call list. Be aware--it's a spammer!
