called and asks for "Jim George" Spam number for sure.

On April 25th, 2013, Thursday, at 5:12 EST I got a phone call from this number.

714-551-6941.   I was home and did not answer it.   The answering machine

picked it up but there was no message.   So,  I picked up the phone.

A computer voice was blathering on about Obama, the IRA,  and it was

pre-recorded.   I clicked onto the 'disconnect' button numerous times,

but this pre-recorded message would NOT disconnect and continued its

blathering into my phone.   After pounding on the 'disconnect' button

a few times,   it FINALLY disconnected.   This phone call was Unwarrented,

and it is also ILLEGAL to tie up my phone line with a computer generated

voice message.    Every phone I own is on the DO NOT CALL LIST.

This is Harassment,  illegal,   and wrong.   This broiler room situation should

be investigated and shut down.

You can tell by all the recent comments this is a fresh number and they are hard at work! They will keep this number fo about a month, and then another scammer will get it shortly thereafter. Then it won;t be used for a while until it is picked up up a few months later.

Just had a call from them. Didn't answer, no message.

Block the number.  Life is too short.

It's a scam!  They should take scam artists, line them up against a wall and shoot them. Ditto for thiefs.

Just cAlled me but i didn't answer..

I answered this - it is a recorded message from a company claiming that they can reduce or eliminate your IRS debt.  I did not press "1" for more details.

i received a call from 7147-551-6941 (orange county area) and I didn't answer my phone and they did not leave a message. I am also on the do not call list.

They called my cell too and the same thing they didn't leave no message

Called didnt leave a message, called back asked me to push 1 to be connected to someone and 2 to be removed...

Many of these people are telemarketers, political calls or just plain nuts and have nothing else to do. Scammers are usually of low IQ levels and do not have regular jobs.  All they do is call all day and night.
This is their life.

I just received a call from same #,  I accepted the call,  but instead of saying hello I didn't say a word
for 30 Seconds, after 30 seconds past I said, "Thank U for staying on the line, we have now traced the
location of your call and u will now be arrested and prosecuted for making threatening and harmful calls"
Now, f*#k with me or  my familly again and I will not be so nice as to just have u arrested & prosecuted,
it becomes personal at that point, so come on - give me what ya got, this is gonna be fun u looser!
Try this it worked for me and I had a lot of fun with them and my co-workers where laughing their a***s  off.

This number called my cell phone, did not leave a message.  I did not answer it as I did not recognize the number.

These calls have been non-stop. They use different numbers; I've written down 5 so far. It's the same guy that sounds as if he's from India.  For a long time he would ask for 'Kevin'. Now he's asking for 'Jane Bennett'.  I screamed at him one time to 'STOP CALLING ME!!!!" and after I hung up, he called back 3 more times within 5 minutes.  I have wondered if this is a scam where they want to make you angry and you call back only to be charged for the call on your end. That is why I will never call back. Block them if you can or write down the numbers and don't answer when they pop up on your caller ID.

i got a call fromthis number at home and twce on my cell wont leave amessage tried of it i will not pick up these people are rude and need to stop.

The message left that they can stop IRS from garnishing wages my cell number use to belong to someone name Richard I get unwanted calls and text messages.

Call the # and you will get a recording.  Press option #2 to be removed.  I can't understand why I am even getting these annoying calls.  I renewed my number on the DO NOT CALL registry and these annoyances are still seeping through like a bad disease!  ugh

I got a call from this number today at 12:06pm.  I didn't answer sent it to voice mail but no message was left.

Just got a call from this number today. I think it's the same tele-scammer that calls me at least once everyday (Monday - Friday), usually around the same time, but with a different number each day. I don't answer, and they never leave a message. My policy is that I don't answer the phone unless it's from someone I know. Plus, I won't hear the ringer anyway ... I have the normal ringtone set to a very silent ringtone. Only friends, family and contacts have regular ringtones, so I'll hear when they call and I'll answer the phone for them. Oh, and I have any unknown numbers set to "automatic reject" so they won't even get a chance to ring my phone! I used to really hate these tele-scammers, but now I get a little satisfaction knowing I've wasted some of their time! Maybe if more people do like I do, the tele-scammers will only be wasting the time and resources of the telephone service providers, and then, maybe the service providers will take some action against them. One can hope....
