This PROMTN-MTR-WCA Caller Tried hard to scam by asking for complete 16 digit check-card #, had a few of them - I will not give him the #'s, Caller threatened to cancelling my Medicare and SSN cards then hung up.  Asian Sounding Voice....

Yes, Di, I just got a call from "INTL WCA" with the number 954-606-5548.  Not your same number, but my point is if they are calling from all sorts of different numbers in widely distant geographical locations making HIGHLY LIKELY these numbers are SPOOFED (made to look like another number; hiding the TRUE number and location of these CRIMINALS).

The best thing to do is to NOT ANSWER, Press IGNORE, if you can on your cell or Pick up/Hang Up immediately (softly) so as to CONFUSE the ROBODIALER/COMPUTER that has your number in its Database.  That MIGHT help to 'dump' your number.

Interestingly enough, the calls I'm getting started IMMEDIATELY after I opened as new SEARS CREDIT CARD through CITIBANK, but REFUSED their $13/month "Credit Monitoring/Protection" Services, about 6 weeks ago.  

I've been saying for some time that I think BIG BUSINESS/CORPORATIONS are BEHIND all these calls in order to keep us DISTRACTED from the Fact that they are RAIDING OUR GOVERNMENT TREASURY via "Government BAILOUTS" and thus getting ready to PLUNGE the U.S into a MAJOR DEPRESSION from which it may never recover, WHILE THE CEOS of SEARS, CITIBANK and all BIG CORPORATIONS will be living on their tropical isles somewhere.

The phone call I got, which I didn't answer had INTL WCA on the caller I.D. but the phone # was different. I wanted to find out if anyone else ran across this WCA thing so I looked it up. The phone # they called from was 1-612-808-9579. From someone else's info on this website it sounds like a scam

I know how these b*****ds got my number. I gave my cell number to one company only and they must have sold it to these spammers. That company was Wells Fargo so they could call me when a loan was approved. I told them not not to share it with anyone when they were typing it in their computer. I hate how these banks sell your information to these companies!

Have been recieving calls from 714 551 9602 and its from Wca Subscriber Services... but you can't cancel your number or anything. They want you to call from a reconized number....

I did answer once and heard the sweepstakes pitch. Usually I just ignore it. There is never a voicemail message.

WCA Subscriber Services. Just call the number; they won't answer. Then listen to the options and there is an option to cancel the phone calls. Otherwise, every time you answer their call they enter you into some BS giveaway or something. They explain it all when you call them.
